mcdonalds - food past its best.

i got a drive thru at mcdonalds and they said they were out of chocolate muffins so would we like somthing else, asked for a chocolate brownie instead and they said they were out of those as well, then 10 seconds later came back saying "oh we've found one!, its the last one" so packed it up and away we went, when we opened the bag and had a look noticed the date on the brownie was the day before (the discard date).

ive complained to mcdonalds but thought i would post here as well as i dont fancy going there again.

for all i know it could have been fished out of the bin.

please dont go on about how mcdonalds is bad for you either (i know it is and i dont care).

why didnt you take it back, make a loud fuss, get money back, then go t oa REAL (and probably heathier..) food ship!

it was less than one day off and is best before date so probably would have been fine if you that worried you should have taken it back

was a drive thru and its hard and illegal to eat and drive...

yeah its just principal. i think 6am on the 19th and 7.30pm on the 20th is more than 1 day off, i found it odd how they suddenly found one when they were out of them, they have a timed system in mcdonalds for all the food if its been sat there too long, so this is just them not following it.

anyway i dont need telling what i should have done, i dont care, just posting that mcdonalds are crap and not asking for advice, ive already complained to them and im waiting for their reply.

Who'd have thought - a restaurant run by people could allow such a human error! Disgraceful! They should all be closed down...
