I have been using Simple since Jan and i swear by it, my spots have vanished (was using a much more expensive skincare brand). I find the rich moisturiser is great, i went to Boots this am and picked up the last bottle with 2 other items and i found Asda were oos, think ppl are stocking up. BTW in Tesco, is all the Simple range 3 for a fiver? as i got the new night cream that was 5pounds and scub that was nearly that much also..

I thought that as there are some fab natural/chemical free/lower chemical free products about too in addition to natural oils. I do use the Simple face wipes - another good thing about the Simple range is that it is cruelty free:D Ive never been tempted by the more expensive creams/a lot of the high street ones like Boots due to their animal testing policies. Simple and even Superdrug now with a lot of their own brand ranges are cruelty free which is great.
How do you know these products are not tested on animals?? I have looked at the packaging today and there is no little rabbit symbol which usually denotes that they have not been tested on animals or have animal related ingredients in them.0 -

Bellajack, I found this on the FAQ section of the Simple website, which backs up the original post by alisont.
HTH clarify the situation.
If you do not test on animals, why do you not have the BUAV logo or some other e.g the suitable for vegetarian or vegan logo on your packaging?</SPAN>
We do not test our products on animals, nor do we commission testing of ingredients on our behalf. As there are many associations promoting the ethical treatment of animals, we feel that we cannot be aligned to just a single one.Invented tradition: Couponology

Thanks Tibbs and to Alisont - I can buy with a clear conscience now!
Still don't understand why they don't put some sort of information about animal testing on there as I am sure more people would buy!
I am currently using 'Pure' cleansing wipes from Poundland ( 2 for a £1.) because they have the rabbit symbol although not all Pure products seem to have this.
All the best!0 -
found this on website about spf
What SPF does your Replenishing Rich Moisturiser have?
I can advise that Replenishing Rich and Protecting Moisture Cream were first formulated over 6-years ago and at this time, the skin care industry did not recommend that moisturisers should contain SPF. We decided to put UV filters in these products as an added ingredient to fight the signs of ageing. We do not formulate to specific SPF with these products but the SPF range will be approximately 6.
We do, however, manufacture three other moisturisers with a definite SPF they are as follows: Daily Radiance SPF10, Regeneration Day SPF15 and Regeneration Plus Day SPF12.....YOU LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY

No wonder some of us are having difficulty actually locating this particular moisturiser with certain people like you clearing the shelves:rolleyes:!
Changing the subject, a Big Thank You to Tibbs for all your fabulous and informative info on this:A.0 -
As this is no longer on special offer at Tesco (now £2.97 there), and a similar price at Asda & Sainsbury, I thought I'd add that it's currently £2 at Morrison, my new favourite supermarket!0

Wm. Morrison are awesome!
Thanks to all who post constructively.

Here's a very MSE thought if no-one's pointed it out already; don't bother with any of these creams as the main factor in whether you wrinkle early or late is your genes! My favourite subliminal message is;0
