I have done some of this stuff before but not studied for a while so I think it would be a good way back into it.

It was one of the things in my plan to do before the end of March (although it doesn't start till May).

Trying to think if £223 is 'enough' for the month - ideally want to chuck some more at the debt and the holiday fund again if I can. If I could try to only spend £100 then would have £120ish left again which would be good. Hmmm.

  • OK I think £100 is do-able, haven't got a great deal planned this month so no real spends apart from food that I can think of. I only spent about £150 last month of which £21 was on a race entry, £11 on maps, £32 on flights... none of which I will be buying this month.

Bit of doubt as to whether my parents are visiting this week now, my mum has a nasty cold so depends if she is better or not :(

I hope they manage to get to you - did you say you hadn't seen your dad since June? What about your mum?

I had a look at those courses yesterday, by the way - they do look interesting  but I need the time to do dfw things like matched betting and whatnot - and time leftover, I need to get out the house a bit. Good for you, tho, liking to study and finding something online that takes your fancy, rather than just relying on what's local.

Saw my mum in November when she came down on her own. It's possible if she's a bit better but not up to travelling my dad might come down by himself.

I do wonder a bit about the extra time commitment of studying but one of the reasons those courses appeal is that they are only for ten weeks so it's not like committing to something for a whole year.

I hope it works out that you can see them both.

Didn't realise the courses were ten weeks! That makes it much more doable, nice one.
