You've got a man who bakes the bread - let him carry on - if you want to bake, bake something else!

And £6.40 - okay, thats pretty good!

:rotfl: It's OK, he is so enthusiastic about the bread making, I don't think this will put him off (I think mine was only good because I was under pressure to match his standards)! He actually does more than half of the cooking, and is very good - I am lucky! :D

Sally has talked me out of the dress - probably just as well as other things were trying to sneak into my basket... resisting it feels better than buying it.

What about doing a money neutral thing on the clothes - have a good sort out, get all your unwanted stuff on ebay and use the proceeds from the sales to pick up something else. That's what I've done this week - 10 items of clothes listed - all being watched and a couple of bids already, I need some spring/summer tops so anything I make will be stashed away until I find something suitable.

I am really grateful Sal, ooh and I haven't forgotten about your chicken stuff, will bring the books in on Monday and do photocopies.

Pooky, that's a good idea - I need a good clearout anyway - sure there's a few things that would sell. I do wonder if I should put the budget down to zero - only use 'earned' money and vouchers...

Hello - it's Monday! Weekend was good, Saturday we planted some seeds (indoors), then had a drive out to the countryside and a lovely walk, found this amazing little valley that looked like Hobbit country!

Sunday morning I ran 10 miles, my furthest ever, which was a bit tough but OK. Was so cold though! Sunday afternoon was spent just collapsed on the sofa with the papers. Had a really nice tea of lamb burgers with roasted peppers, courgettes, and bulgar wheat with onion, tomato, chilli, olives, lemon and coriander mixed through - which in my DFW geeky way I quietly figured out as having cost about £1 each thanks to lots of reductions! Got leftover bulgar wheat and peppers for lunch - plus a bit of bread that Mr S made yesterday - I didn't put him off breadmaking, phew!

Spent £3.52 on some bits and pieces for the garden and that was all :D Oh and Quidco money went into my overdraft account - 12p :rotfl: Just trying to ignore the Body Shop glitch on the shopping board.. don't need it.....

Got very runny nose this morning and just started to feel a bit lightheaded... euurgh....

I hope so Karma.. I keep sneezing!

Just checked online banking - have £247.32 left with £50.60 phone bill to come out, leaving £196.72. Since payday (23rd) I have spent:
    £500 on rent
    £145 on debt
    £76 on council tax
    £4.89 on toiletries
    £9.33 on food
    £3.52 on gardening stuff
    £21 on race entry
and put £28 onto Mastercard for some cheapie flights when they appear (Ryanair's alleged 'sales' have been rubbish lately!)

I know Sal, tried to dig on Saturday but it was frozen solid!
