Any luck with Waitrose then Sal? Mr S came home with 25p trifle sponges yesterday (apparently we are going to make tiramisu
)
Got up to go to work today but still don't feel right, head is hot and full of stuff... yuck. Definitely on the mend though, hopefully one more day will do it.
My nice organic toiletries arrived yesterday so had a lovely shower with them, they smell sooo nice. They'd accidentally sent me two conditioners instead of one shampoo and one conditioner though, emailed them this morning and now have shampoo on the way and an extra conditioner to keep for free
Finally, some good news on the money front, something that I've been doing for nothing for years (helping out with a website/forum), am going to get paid! An extra £50 a month which will be very handyDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Sorry you're still feeling yucky .... but hey, doesn't honesty pay! Well done - and getting paid for what was previously voluntary is very good news, well done you.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Good bargains there! Like Beanie says I wouldn't count it as a non-NSD if it's out of your grocery budget, depends how you're working it though.
I've just cut my fringe cos it was getting in my eyes, it's erm... asymmetrical! I'll just pretend it's meant to be like thatDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
See I normally count days when I do the food shopping or petrol as spend days like I would if I popped to buy a newspaper or went to the post office. The only days I don't count if I spend money are ones where I go to the post office for sending ebay stuff as they have paid for the postage iyswim.
I might seperate them a bit more thinking about it more. For example I include spends on a saturday for piano and swimming lessons even though they are budgeted as I physically have to hand over the cash. I suppose if I set up direct debits they would be normal bills and then I wouldn't have to include them as non nsd. Sorry im waffling now lolI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Waffle away!
I've spent £11 today on two maps, sort of necessary for us not getting lost in the countryside :rotfl:

I tend to see NSd'a as cash expenditure which is unbudgeted for.

Back at work today, still sniffling away and quite tired but feeling a lot better. Meant to be attempting 12-13 miles run at the weekend but will have to see how I feel - grr.
Still struggling away with the clothes non-spending - have seen a bra that should be £109 for £10 this morning! But I don't really need another bra, nice as it is. And now I've written it here I'll feel guilty if I buy it... :rotfl:
Weekend - I think we're having a trip to Wilkinsons for some kitchen stuff Mr S wants and to try and find some suitable containers for growing potatoes. Hopefully get a decent run in and other than that I'm not sure yet - oh yes I have to go home at some point and retrieve my post for the week!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
