Go for it Squizz, at least you'd know where you stood then, maybe he's not asked you as you seem too independant having your own place and wanting to spend time there? Men are strange creatures don't forget and often need a prod in the right direction.

i think the time is now....

you can even make a joke about how it is kinda money saving in a way, but you'll both benefit financially anyway, not just you...

but the real reason is cause you love the bones of him.....

Well the time is tomorrow night then I suppose - I do need to go home tonight and sort out the wreckage :rotfl:

  • Well he earns more than me but not loads more - he had some inherited money and some help from his parents to buy the house. And his mortgage only works out slightly more than my rent per month

Well Squizz- listen to your Aunty Bob and go for it girl..two can live as cheaply as one ( unless it is Mr.B)

On second thoughts- learn from my mistakes:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    :rotfl:

He doesn't have any debt (apart from the mortgage) so I can't foresee Mr B type problems! (no doubt there would be other Mr S type problems along the way though!) I reckon I've saved him loads actually, introduced him to Quidco, discount codes, freebies, suggested looking for furniture on eBay...

Can I not just send you lot round to talk to him? :o:D

  • Work on him slowly Squizz- Sounds like you are making great guns- why not look on the Mortgage free wananbe challenges as an incentive for making savings and getting rid of mortgage?

I'm not sure if he can overpay on mortgage or not - it is fairly new.. and I don't understand these things very well! We are currently at 'probably should look at gas and electricity suppliers to see if can get it cheaper' stage...

Had a constructive night tidying up and got a good run in too - feel really knackered today though, woke up really early then dozed off again so I feel rubbish!

Just spent another £3.99 on my toiletries budget - I got a free sample of this hand sanitizing stuff - http://www.quashme.com/ - a while back and when I'd run out of spot cream I used a bit of that instead (figured that natural antibacterial stuff would possibly work) and it was really good, really gentle as well, don't get that dried out feeling that I get from the chemical-laden stuff. I've been putting a bit on my face most mornings and nights and my skin feels better than it has in ages - so thought I should stock up! The 15ml bottle I got as a sample has lasted ages so 50ml should keep me going for quite a while.

Thought I'd have a look at the Boots sale in case they had any good shower stuff etc cheap to stock up but anything I would have wanted is sold out already - probably a good thing!

Oh and yes I will try to approach the subject of living arrangements tonight :o

    Today's horoscope

The emphasis is on putting some money into the home (or maybe taking some out of equity) or being involved in financial transactions with a family member, Capricorn. A responsible attitude is the key to unlocking happiness today.
