Hmmph Monday again! Had another good weekend, lots of gardening - major blitz on OH's overgrown flower beds, they now look so much better and he has a big veg patch. Think the digging made up for the lack of exercise class last week - ouch!

Going to book the Christmas flights this week :D

No other news really - I've overspent a bit but still on track to pay off that little debt and get under £9000 when I get paid! :)

Looking forward to next weekend when we are off on a big walking adventure - the first 40 (ish) miles of the Pennine Way :j (won't be doing much jumping like that by the end of it, I suspect!)

Oh and a little bit of vain girly stuff, I weighed myself the other day and I'm now below the certain weight that I don't like being above, have lost about half a stone since April - not sure how exactly although I have been eating lots of veg (free Abel & Cole veg box offer helped there) and I guess the running and lots of walking must help too!

Debt standing orders come off in the next couple of days and then I'll pay the rest off that little debt.

£300 left over then this month, last month I spent £305 so shouldn't be too bad - I am putting the Christmas flights on my card (Visa Electron = no charges) but will hopefully get half of that back ;) Have got a few days away for a friend's birthday which I'm going to try to do as cheaply as possible - know we are eating out somewhere fairly bargainous and I'm going to try not to drink too much and not buy anything on the inevitable shopping trip!

In other news.. the exercising is going well although my stomach muscles are protesting slightly after yesterday's class. Doing another gym class today and then a gentle run tonight.

On the flat front.. still got about three weeks before I need to tell my landlady if I'm staying or not. Was chatting to OH last night about something to do with my flat and I said I hadn't told her what I was doing yet. He said "oh I was going to ask you if you'd done anything about that yet..." ..... and... well.... that's all...:rotfl:

  • Maybe.. or he was just being curious? Although I've never mentioned looking for anywhere else.. aghhh not going to analyse too much - honest!

  • Hooray, first couple of the debt standing orders came off today so £50 off - and those are the ones where the DCA is crediting with 20% of payments made so actually £60 off my total. Other couple should come off tomorrow then I can make that final payment on the little one.

All organised for the weekend - checked with the hotel we're staying in on Saturday night about their evening meals and they do all hearty sounding home made stuff, make their own bread and soup etc.. yum yum yum...

I'm *useless* at looking for new diaries! Do I get the prize for the latest "welcome to diaryland" post?

Welcome! Glad to see you, and I have somewhere to find you properly now. Sounds like you're working hard on the socialising bit, and the fitness, thats brill. I was checking last night for an evening class to do, I've decided on a dance class - whether its bellydancing or flamenco, I don't really mind. I probably *need* bellydancing more, it helps with flexibility :D

  • Hi Karma! Yes, you do :rotfl:

Still find it a bit of a struggle to get myself out of the door or to the gym but feel so much better when I do get there! Bellydancing sounds fantastic, one of my friends used to do it and there was a really good social life involved as well, going to events and meeting up with other groups who did it.

**simpers** Thank you for my prize, I'll try to be always worthy :D

Attached social life sounds good for a bellydancing class! My sister talked about doing an evening class with no homework attached, and I think thats right, but added social life would be brill.

Booked the Christmas flights and hotel last night :D

All the debt payments have come off, just need to find off how to pay the extra bit off!

And off walking many miles in the morning, can't wait! :D

  • OK, I'm being a little bit cautious and haven't completely paid off the little debt yet, want to see how it goes this month after paying for the flights last night - don't want to be starving by the end of the month. BUT I have paid a chunk off it and pushed my debt just under £9000 - very pleased! :D
