I'm an idiot. Have been stressing about something at work for a few days, as it involved something I don't understand and someone I haven't spoken to before, but when I actually went to see them, all it really involved was handing over some bits of paper to them. Why did I not just do it straight away?! Aargh!
Anyway, another nice evening in the garden, apart from cooking tea (courgette and bacon quiche with loooads of salad), we were out there until after 9Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Thats what Taxi said - if you've got to do it, might as well do it right away
I'm glad it was so easily resolved, anyway, Squizz.

I know, I was doing quite well following that ethos and then I got a real mental block with this one. Must stop it!
Just been for a meeting at another building twenty minutes walk away, nice stroll through the park in the sunshine there and back.. lovelyDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

It definitely makes a difference
Today I have training on how to update the website, so I am allowed to do so - that will be really useful seeing as it is part of my job! Then meeting my work mentor for lunch, although neither of us are really sure how this mentoring thing is going to work so it might just be an excuse for lunch!
Right must go do stuff before course. .have a lovely day all xDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

The way that they're putting in the age of 70 and then pooh-poohing it.... Squizz, I think thats what they're aiming for, sadly. All the more reason to get out of debt and put some serious money behind you.
EDIT - the website training sounds brill.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Very good point re getting out of debt etc.
Brill.. hmmm well it was useful. The actual programme is horrible to use though!
