Helloooo.. well it was a lovely weekend! Big shopping trip on Saturday (I bought erm clothes, and stuff from Lush), then Sunday was the Race - boiling hot weather and hayfever meant that I wasn't very fast, so a bit disappointed, but on reflection it was a good steady run and I felt I paced myself well so can't complain too much. Had a huge dinner at La Tasca (50% off vouchers, yay) and a bit too much wine! Monday - the spa day was great (once we eventually found where we were meant to be going, bit of a confusion over the different branches of the beauty place..) - it was in a big hotel which had an amazing pool, steam room, jacuzzi.. and the facial and massage were so good! Not sure I would pay full price for it but I would definitely go back for a massage or something again.

Back to work today - too hot! Met the big boss of our department today, she had asked for a meeting because she usually interviews staff but was away for mine so hadn't met me properly.. she seems really lovely and wasn't intimidating at all, had a really good chat! Just catching up with work now and having a peek at the bank balance.. funny thing this weekend was that my friend was a bit tight for money and I felt able to take the strain a bit, it's always really been the other way round so that felt nice for me. Get paid from second job tomorrow anyway :)

Thanks Karma.. I am happy, although also knackered! Mr S surprised me at the weekend too, usually if he's home alone he just mooches round the house, but he took himself off for a walk in the countryside on Saturday - checking out a route he'd done before to see if we could do it as a circular walk sometime. Mind you he was then struck down by cold/ hayfever so haven't seen much of him, did have a nice meal with him and my friend last night though, and he seems in a decent mood today when we spoke earlier. Am seriously looking forward to hugs tonight - and sleeping in a comfy bed again! (that reminds me, we agreed earlier that neither of us liked sleeping on our own, and he mentioned that I'd probably paid an extortionate amount per night to stay at mine!)

Ooh also.. the garden is looking, well, very green - it looks quite messy and overgrown actually, but there are beans and peas rapidly swelling up, and two ENORMOUS courgettes which are tonights tea!

Plus - I've just updated my debt totals as most will come off tomorrow. £162 short of my April-June target, but come proper payday I should hopefully be paying off that nasty little debt making it just over £700 - that's the plan anyway!

Hellooo.. well I got paid from second job today, and paid some debts, so bank balance is now £235 (plus £70 on prepaid card for flights when we see some). Just had an email about another spa deal and after Monday's lovely experience I thought I'd go for it - a facial and a full body massage for £12! Mind you the spots now appearing on my face are not so lovely - guess it's cleared everything out :o

Had a nice evening last night - catching up on all the gardening and eating the courgettes :) Fairly steady day at work today I think - nothing in particular planned.

Finally - why is everywhere having a sale, and why do they have to email me about it - go away! :D

lol about the sales and sorry about the spots! Lots of water is the only answer - so all the toxins that have been released don't go straight back into your body...

    Hope work is good again.

*goes to fill up water bottle* :) I certainly feel like I have been quite well detoxed, and am trying to carry it on for the rest of this week - no alcohol, healthy eating (summer fruits ice cream counts as it has fruit in it, doesn't it?)

Just had a big 'oops' moment - noticed that my overdraft balance didn't match what was on my spreadsheet for it.. that would be because it was £1400 when I started and I had it down as £1200 by mistake...aaargh. I have still paid off the same amount but I've got a bit further to go than I thought - I have amended my sig.. sigh!

One day I will actually get below £9K - honest!
