Oh you know me/ us.. no proper conversation about anything, but we keep talking about how we will need to get a bigger garden at some point.. it's all planned out what we're going to plant over the winter and next spring... ;)

We also had an interesting "I should really be paying council tax for your house" one in passing the other day... so you know, moving in the right direction!

Makes me think of a phrase I saw the other day - "I chased him until he caught me" - stay with it, Squizz, you're doing the right thing!

So I guess I need a deadline to aim at for that £265.. I'm thinking the end of July, should be plenty of time.

This morning I've been visiting another department, 'networking' sort of thing, I'm not used to talking to so many people and it's a bit weird when you don't actually know that much about what you're doing yet!

Other than that, not much to say.. oh yes, the broad bean and french bean flowers are starting to turn into bean pods - that's exciting!

Sounds like everything is going great Squizz.....my allotment and plants are suffering a bit due to lack of time and effort on my part! I need a house with a garden that I can potter in in the evening!

Glad to hear the house/home situation is moving in the right direction :)

It is good being able to just pop out into the garden - well when it's not pouring with rain!

Feel a bit up and down today - work is going really well, we had an Away Day yesterday which was good, met lots more people and it was really productive. Mr S is so miserable about work though, he is literally sitting around all day doing nothing because there's nothing for him to do, he isn't sleeping well which is hardly surprising when he's not done anything. At least it's the weekend now I guess.

Its lovely to do that! Sorry Mr Squizz is having such a tough time, it is horrible - it sounds great, all that time is your own, but there's only so much reading you can do, or your own paperwork you can take in, even phone calls. I think I'd probably add exercises to that too, if I ever did any :o

He can't really do any of that as he's in a big office with a lot of people - he can browse the net but even that has limited appeal. It's so difficult - he is already on anti-depressants but this is so obviously caused by the situation. I have suggested he should discuss it with his manager but I think she is aware and nobody really wants to admit there isn't enough work to do!

Just checked online baking.. oops banking (must be getting hungry!).. I have £400 left - 2 and a half weeks till proper payday and 1 and a half till second job payday - £200 approx followed by £1200 approx - get to find out how much I actually get per month finally!

Have got some money put aside on my prepaid card for cheap flights, but other than that my only big spends are likely to be when my friend visits next weekend. We're doing the Race for Life on the Sunday and have the spa day on the Monday so spends will really just be meals out etc.
