Not done any OU courses but there are loads on here that have - so maybe someone could help advise - I amd sure you are going about it the right way - starting with a short one then building up as you build your confidence - good luck x

Thanks judi24, I know that if I do the k101 course then I can do the nvq level 3 in health and social care after or alongside, I just need a little more experience in the hospital first before I do the nvq. The k101 course is supported by the rcn, so I know it is a good course to do, and when my son starts school I will have experience plus qualifications to get a permanent job.

Does anyone out there do the k101 open university course, it is the exam that is worrying me, but I have read that you can take a page of notes in or something.

I have enough money put aside to clear virgin completely, and have about £70 left on barclaycard, will update sig when I work out exact figures later. Don't know whether to pay virgin now or wait for bill to come through which will probably be next week. I'm not sure what to do.

Does anyone do course k101 with open university, who can tell me what it's like or if you have completed it then what the exam is like in terms of stress levels etc, is it right you can take in a page of notes.

I have paid off the remaining balance on barclaycard, i now need to cancel this card, i am sure there will be a couple of pounds extra to pay in interest. I do have the money to pay off virgin, i am going to wait for the statement which should be here next week.

Tried to cancel barclaycard today, they said to ring back on Monday strange as customer service is meant to be open 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. Oh well, try again on Monday.
