I managed to get two more weekend shifts for the next two weeks, so i now have 6 to keep me going, if i ring up every week then hopefully i can at least get one each weekend minimum if not more.
I have a few watchers on some of my items on ebay, just hoping they dont go for the starting price of 99p, its hard to know what is selling at the minute, i guess you dont know until you put it on, the person that might want your item just might not be looking during the week you list, i think it is just hit and miss at the moment.0 -
Tomorrow should be an exciting day:rolleyes:, i have two shifts at work the first is on the elderly ward from 7am-1.30pm and the second is on oncology from 2.30pm-9.30pm,:eek::eek: i am going to be so tired. I am not sure i will post tomorrow, as by the time i get in, i will be creamy crackered.
I think i will have to get a taxi home tomorrow as i dont drive and for some reason there is no bus in the evening, yet there is on sunday evening. I dont like getting a taxi as they are so expensive, last time it was £20 for a 15-20 minute journey, maybe i can persuade someone to give me a lift if they are going my way.0 -
wow lauhen today will be a long day for you,i think you deserve to get a taxi home if you can't get a lift after working all those hours0

A taxi does seem the way to go, at least it will take me straight to my door.0

I survived my two shifts yesterday, but now have a migraine which isn't good as I have another shift this afternoon from 2.30-9.30pm. I got through yesterday thinking off the dent I would make in the barclaycard debt.0

Hope your head feels a bit better, Just think you will have that barclaycard paid off in no time.0

Well done for getting through it - thinking of paying off the debt is a fab motivation! Hope your migraine felt better before you went to work!:jNov 2012 - Loan £1200, CC1 £1450

Still had a slight migraine when it was time for work, but I went and got through it. I did get a taxi home again which cost £22 for 15 min drive, normally I would get a bus but with a migraine and it being so cold I just wanted to get home. I am doing two late shifts this weekend coming, but I will get a bus then or try and get a lift home, as taxis are so dear.0

My items all sold on eBay, I put 5 on and made just over £47, a couple didn't make much, but one of the kids old toys got £21, so it all evened itself out. I have put two more items on eBay but they are a bit hit and miss as to whether they will sell.0
