I cant complain today as me and my son are having a chill out day, i have had a migraine since last night, so we are just relaxing. I am missing the holidays already.0 -
Hi Lauhen,
Thanks for stopping by my diary. You are doing so well. I haven't worked as a healthcare assistant but have worked as a care assistant with people with a learning disability, in the past.
Think of how motivating it will be when you finish paying off Barclaycard and then Virgin. I get a great amount of pleasure from not owing them any interest anymore. Keep up the good work, I have subscribed so I can keep up to date with youTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Thanks for popping in to my diary, I really can't wait to pay off barclaycard and virgin, I despise barclaycard so much, they have sent us letters saying that they have increased my limit, but I have refused to get sucked in and can't wait to cancel them.0

I think that I might use my diary to say how my days have gone at work aswell, it can be a lot to take in being a healthcare assistant, from what you have to see to what you have to hear, smell, do etc. But I actually get satisfaction from doing it as I know that when my shift is finished that I have helped some patients be that little bit more comfortable. And also that my wages are helping to clear the debt.0

It's my 7 year olds birthday in february during half term, I am not adding to the debt for this, she doesn't need anymore toys so it is hard to decide what to get her, I know that she would love cinema vouchers, a bowling experience, claires giftcard, things like that, as she enjoys this kind of thing. So I might do that, she also likes musicals, so I might see what deals there are. I will probably have about £150-£200 that can be used for her birthday so we should be ok.0

First day back at school for dd and I get a letter asking for £16 for swimming, at least it is for an activity that my dd enjoys and is good exercise for her. Will have to write a cheque and adjust budget.0

I am having a yucky day today, can't be bothered with anything, I think I have the post Christmas blues still, it's my favourite holiday and I hate it when it's over.
Had an email today from stagecoach, my daughter attends there on Saturdays for singing, dancing and acting lessons. They were letting me know that the agency books are now open, I know that my daughter wants to do this, she will have to attend a workshop and do a set drama piece of her choice, she will then get included in the spotlight directory, the only downside is that you have to pay £190. I know that it is all legit etc, it is a known casting directory, it's just that it's more money to payout, arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.0 -
Hi Lauhen
Just wanted to pop in and say hello...I've had a read through your diary and you seem to have similar plans to me....need to pay of the cards and overdraft and then tackle the big loan! Well done on finding work to fit round the children, I am thinking about bank HCA work so I'd be interested to hear more about it in your diary! I'm a terrible lurker but I need to start posting more to keep focused (had too many false starts!).
Keep it up
