All this talk of food is making me hungry. And I've just had my lunch lol. Think I'm going to make a tomato pasta sauce tonight with some green beans that I need to use up. Plus tomatoes are only 29p per punnet at Aldi, so it'll fulfil the money-saving obligation0

Sausage casserole in the slow cooker as I type, smells lovely. I would love a glass of wine with it, but as I am on day four of not smoking, I'll give the wine a miss.0

It's forraging time, so no doubt "blackberries" will feature in there somewhere for puddingLike all revolutions, guerrilla goodness begins slowly, with a single act. Let it be yours.

We'll be having smoked salmon risotto, which is very tasty and surprisingly cheap.
Sweat an onion and a few cloves of garlic with a good lump of butter, add arborio risotto rice and coat with the butter, gently add about 400ml of hot chicken stock over 20-30 mins (stirring constantly), once this is absorbed season with salt and pepper before folding in the smoked salmon
If you use trimmings as opposed to good smoked salmon it only costs about £2.50 for enough to feed four to bursting. Also, if you're a fan of making your own stock it's one of the tastiest ways possible to show off the quality of home made over stock cube0 -

I bet that would be nice when cooked with asparagus spears, and lots and lots of Parmesan cheese.0 -

It's coming to light that my cooking involves a lot of throwing, banging, bashing, whacking!! Jamie Oliver eat your heart out!
I love it when he says you have to 'chuff' your potatoes up!!

Veggie curry for me. Just chucked veggies that are about to turn, into my SC with some curry sauce and should be ready in about an hr
PS I am doing this cos I cooked too much rice last night and didn't want to throw it out cos that would be wasteful and not money saving at all!Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
:jStuffed red peppers for us with runner beans and new potatoes. The stuffing will be a couscous creation of somesort. Pud is a chewy blackberry muesli slice.:j"A thousand candles can be lit from a single candle without shortening the life of that candle."
