We'll be having a mixed bean and pasta bake. I soaked and cooked loads of beans up last month and shoved them in the freezer, I'll cook them in a herby tomato sauce and add the pasta and bake for an hour until it's all gooey....loads of melted cheese on the top....yum."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. I think there are lots of recipes and ideas on the old style board. Have you checked that out?

Depending on what your budget is like for food you could try
Chicken and Mushroom stuffed with cheese and spinach
Bashed out chicken breast stuffed with a mixture of soft cheese and spinach (wilt the spinach, add a pinch f salt to stop the spinach having a gritty texture, then thrown in the soft cheeses and mix together)
roll the chicken breast then put on baking tray
Stuff some large mushroom with the same filling, place on same baking tray
Bang in the oven for about 25 mins
A gorgeous tasty meal for a fairly cheap price if you make the right choices at the supermarket
tesco value chicken (approx £2 for 2)
Spinach (approx 90p for a big bag)
tesco value soft cheese (47p)
4 large mushrooms (approx 70p)
Missal
Another one for my meal plan:T
Ta very much

Mince and chips followed by Neapolitan ice cream.
I am still undecided about a wine to complement this so if anyone has any suggestions I would welcome them.0 -
Also, not sure if this has been mentioned on the forum before or not, but just found a site called mydish.co.uk. I just mentioned to another friend that I was looking for recipes and she told me about it. Apparantly it was on Dragon's Den or something.
It's a recipe sharing website and there seem to be lots of recipes and ideas on there.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
