Are there any posh hotels in this area?

It depends what you call posh!

Horwood House is nice at Little Horwood.

Jury's Inn is New at the City Centre. There is a Hilton and Holiday Inn!

There's been a couple of discussions on here about carpets and floors before, but I'm after someone who professionally fits laminate floors... mum's got her flooring and needs someone to fit it!

Can anyone suggest anyone? Anyone had carpets or laminate done and still got the fitters card???

Mmm, I used Carpetwise 18mths ago, but to be honest I've not been impressed with the fitting of my flooring... I think they've fitted it too close to the walls and it doesn't allow enough space to expand and contract...

Rather than using a store directly (as they'll want to supply us with the flooring as well), I wondered if anyone knew someone who subcontracts to one of the big chains but also does individual quoted work...?

In this weeks Go magazine that comes with the Citizen (and I think with all Go mags this month) there is a voucher entitling you to 2 for 1 main meals at Wagamamas in the city centre.

There is no problem using the voucher and the food is fab!:D

Its a lovely place with a good restaurant (I'm a bit biased as I was married there).
Wins so far this year: It's been a quiet year so far :)
