When I ran the local toddler group, we got a group discount! I was amazed at the amount of people that turned up on the day and handed me there money, although they hadn't committed themselves to coming originally (I think they wanted to see if the weather would be nice).

However, I think we needed about 20 paying people at the time.

They are called JOHN BRIARS GARAGE DOORS LTD. I actually called them before you posted your second message. They gave me a quote on the phone which looked reasonable. So I might go with them. Thx.

Do you people on here use Freecycle? What do you think?

If you fancy a change, check out http://miltonkeynes.dontdumpthat.com/ it is the same kind of thing but a lot quieter at the moment and more focused on the environment. There is also a couple of forums on there to to discuss anything you like!

Hopefully this will build up a bit more and we can have an alternative to Freecycle which is good but becoming quite annoying with all the wanteds that are appearing!

I've signed up to DDT, hopefully it will provide a useful alternative to Freecycle, which I too find is swamped with 'wants' and people are too greedy and quick to fire off a 'yes' when something comes up, irrespective of whether they need it...

As an aside, did anyone queue for Harry Potter last night? What were the queues in Tesco, Waterstones and Borders (and anywhere else?!) like? I was in Asda, and queued for an hour, believe it or not (hit it at the wrong time!)...

Costco in MK are doing HP for £4.98, which appears to be the cheapest I have found. They still had lots on Satuday (when I caved and decided I couldn't wait until Monday for my Amazon one to turn up:o)
