Costco in MK are doing HP for £4.98, which appears to be the cheapest I have found. They still had lots on Satuday (when I caved and decided I couldn't wait until Monday for my Amazon one to turn up:o)

Sorry, you've lost me - HP what?

Ahah! Hp = Harry Potter - there was me thinking HP sauce and HP printer cartridges......

    I'll get my coat......
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

Do you people on here use Freecycle? What do you think?

If you fancy a change, check out http://miltonkeynes.dontdumpthat.com/ it is the same kind of thing but a lot quieter at the moment and more focused on the environment. There is also a couple of forums on there to to discuss anything you like!

Hopefully this will build up a bit more and we can have an alternative to Freecycle which is good but becoming quite annoying with all the wanteds that are appearing!

I have sigened up to that but it is so very quiet at the moment. have just posted loads of offer on frecycle may be I should put a note on there as well. Thing is I want the stuff gone so I know that Freecycle will get it shifted.

  • We queued up in Asda for nearly an hr aswell, we got there just as they were counting down for it to go on sale, and got my two at 00.56, we saw people queueing at Waterstones at 10am when we went up for our Krispy Kremes!!!!:D I'm taking my time reading it, I know lots of people have finished it but as it's the last one......
When people put stuff on Freecycle and other sites do they just leave it outside for the person to collect as being at home on my own at the moment I would prefer not to have people knocking on the door, or is that just considered rude?:naughty:

I sometimes leave things out side if I am doing other things, no point waiting around for people especialy as they don't always tern up.

I think as long as you tell people where the item is they don't minde. It also saves the some times strange moments when people pretend to be your best mate coz you are giving them something.

Good timing!! I needed a kite too! How handy! Got the one from Argos. Cheers

For future reference MKmoneysavers, if you need a door key cut there is a shop in Wolverton called CP Locks who will do you a new key for £2!!

Unlike the ones in town who charge you about £5....
