They were giving out free small packets in The Centre today - between Boots & Market. Also a leaflet with a 20p voucher.

I got mine about 2pm - so don't know if they're still there or if they'll be there tomorrow.

Can I just ask a stupid question (fellow Milton Keynes peeps won't mind I'm sure!)- How do you thank people these days - has the thanks button gone or is it just me ?!!

Once you log in, you'll see the thank you button on the posts. Gotta log in, otherwise the computer, the person you want to thank, and the rest of us won't know where the gratitude is coming from.

Can anyone tell me if there's an Oriental foodstore in MK? I'm specifically after Japanese food items, but also need some Chinese ingredients as well.

I can't seem to find anything on Google - does anyone know otherwise??

Whilst searching for my oriental supermarket (the only one I've found is Sam's Oriental Store in Neath Hill), I came across this site:

    http://www.milknbeans.com/freestuff/home.asp

The word: "free stuff" caught my eye - vouchers and things for local restaurants. Fab!

I know, I know, I know (I'm not a complete drongo) - A couple of weeks ago they removed all the thanks buttons and I was wondering where they had gone and that it wasn't just me not seeing them !!!

There's a supermarket at Netherfield shops that does asian, jamaican, african stuff - I don't know if it does chinese, but it might be worth a look if you can't find anything else.

There is one in Stacey Bushes, the road opposite Kentucky, think there is a dealrship there just before you get to the BP station.

Friend took me there once, they do wholesale too.
