Indiegirl - how is your possible house purchase going?

Found something which ticked all the boxes but didn't feel right, so we are still looking.....

    Hi!

I want to have an alarm system fitted to my house. I am going through the yellow pages to get quotes but if anyone has a personal recommendation it would be much appreciated. I would prefer someone based in MK as like to support local business if possible.

    Thanks x
    Happy Easter!

Thanks - could you just give me some background on the area - what is it like? Is it quiet? Have you had any trouble? What are the local pubs / shops etc like?

our bit is pretty quiet yes and we haven't had any trouble, I think it does vary from road to road. we are near glastonbury first school, and 5 mins from denbeigh school and the local shops, which are a netto, chemist/post office, newsagent, charity shop, estate agent, bookies, fish and chip shop, off licence and chinese. there are a lot of little play areas for kids and my son goes to the local preschool which is really nice. my husband walks to the city to work and it takes him 40 minutes. there is a harvester just on watling street, a hotel/pub, a cavery type pub and a leisure centre and pub all within 5 mins of us.

We live in the Shenley Brook End area, very sort after area and VERY nice... would recommend any of the Shenleys especially if you have kids, good catchment for some of the top schools in MK
