Try the MK Freecycle groups, I've seen pianos on there before.

Good luck and welcome to MK :)
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

I need my stairs and hallway plastering and was wondering if any of the local MSE'ers could recommend anyone.

On my stairs and downstairs hallway the lower half of the wall below the dado rail the paint seems to have been mixed in with some textured stuff giving it a rather effective dippled look (also same stuff on the radiator and connecting pipes !) which I don't personally like. The dippled effect only goes halfway up thank god - must have run out of sandy stuff.

Need someone round to advise me on what to do/quote and then deal with it. After that - will need a plumber to deal with the radiator and connecting pipes in being replaced.

    Please help

There are some vouchers in this weeks MK Citizen for attractions such as Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Warwick Castle, Madame Tussauds, Chessington etc.

Will be great for the summer, Warwick Castle one's are free entry with one paying adult and the others are all £10 off entry fee. :money:

    Hi

I was just looking at the Age Concern site which shows the Kiln Farm warehouse a couple of people have mentioned - the website's updated fairly regularly with pictures of some of the stock they have - plus it says some large national retailers donate brand new stock to them so worth having a look :)

    Recommendation time please!

Plumbers - I know that some people have asked previously, but I am in need of a plumber / Corgi reg'd gas person to quote me to supply and fit a new boiler...

Can anyone recommend someone they've used??

  • I must recommend https://www.daanonline.co.uk - had a curry delivered from them last night and it was excellent, you order online and they guarantee delivery within 45 minutes. You either pay on delivery or with Paypal.
