hiya- our letting agency that we rent from is Belvoir, based in newport pagnell. from a tenant's point of view they are very good- they come and see us every 3/6 months to check the house over and sort any problems, and report back to the owner.

I rent from Thomas & Co , but if I was renting again I'd probably choose Belvoir too.

Depending on what you want to do - ie do you want to manage the property and get someone to find you tenants, or do you just want to hand the house over and let the agents recommend their repair people etc?

If it's the former I can highly recommend Hughes & Co - they usually have an advertisement in the Citizen.

You might want to try the do-it-yourself approach which if done right can save you lots of fees and gain you higher income. For example, thru http://www.miltonkeyneslettings.com you can search and post for rooms and prospective tenants free. And at http://www.landlordlaw.co.uk they really provide easy to use guidance and you can get ongoing advice for an extremely low fixed price. If you have the time and energy to do it yourself you can enjoy much more flexibility and potentially significantly more income.
  • Can anyone remind me which coach companies travel to London from the coachway, except for National Express? I'm looking for cheap travel to and from London on Sunday 1st April and the train seems really expensive considering there are engineering works and so you have to change at Hemel.

    Thanks

    Hi MMS

Megabus stops at the coachway now plus Easybus used to, don't know if it still does. Also, there used to be a cheap bus service to somewhere around Marylebone from the Point a few years back although I never used it and don't know if it's still running.

I think Easybus goes from Milton Keynes in to London.

Easybus doesn't run any more :-( (shame that, it was quicker than Megabus)
