Hi all,
Had a lovely day at wedding on sat, with borrowed bag and lovely outfit made up of practically new things Ive never worn. (would normally have bought whole new outfit). Been shopping a couple of times over BH, but taken a list, and haven't bought anything new, or any toiletries.
I've decided to put the money I'm saving towards a "once in a lifetime, dream holiday" for me and dh. That way I will feel I can see some benefit from this challenge.
Well done to everyone else!

Well done MM, small steps
.
KC Dream holiday sounds really lovely and definately something to aim for. I am having a kitchen makeover, have bought the cooker, hob and chimney; also new fronts and worktops.
Hubby is removing the old tiles and wall coverings and has informed me that the plaster has blown in a few places in the kitchen , we are now looking at having all the walls replastered and the ceiling which was damaged from a leak in the bathroom.

I'm reading this thread every day.
Last weekend I didn't go shopping!
I'm sure its because of this thread. I didn't want to go near the shops as I knew that Estee Lauder had their Gift Time on.
We are currently doing a live on £30 a week food challange (2 Adults) and I'm trying to cut back on everything else.
I'm not going to join (or now) but will just be a cheer leader for those who have.0 -
Have been to Boots today and bought an Urban Retreat mask which I did need, because it was BOGOF :j I had the exfoliator for free. The purchases did not cost me a penny as I had a £20.00 Boots voucher from Valued opinions; so I am classing this as a no spend
.

Debi nice no spend lol!:j
Well I am back in work now, after spending a lovely 5 days in Kent. Had to buy a couple of toiletries but they were kind of essential (razor and shaving gel):o
I have been very good walking past all the clothes shop. Saw a gorgeous pair of boots in Deichman but I think I will hint at my mum that they will make a good enrolment present lol!:p
xxx:DIf I am laughing, then I don't understand!!

Hi all. Just got back from late night shopping. I'm going to a festival at the weekend and with rain forecast, I needed some supplies! I picked up a rain mac, wellies, long socks and an over body bag for about £40 which I thought was really good! All bought with funds from the carboot I did a few weeks ago, so that's good too.
I picked up a cardi and t-shirt in Primark but put them back. Be strong girls!0 -

MM good incentive not to buy, I hate packing when you are moving house, total nightmare.
GG excellent news on the carboot, enjoy your festival at the weekend. I have registered for hubby and I to go to Glastonbury next yearhubby was highly amused. I bought my wellies a couple of weeks ago dark plumy pink with light pink flowers :rotfl:
