I just bought some Steve Madden purple suede platform sandals from Shudoo. Down to £50 from £90. Damn their emails telling me about the sale!

Can't wait for their arrival though!

Awfully quiet on her at the moment ;)

They sound fab GG, I love purple.

Went to the dentist on Wednesday and ended up with a root canal, I have been so under the weather since and my face is really swollen and sore  I feel worse now than I did before my appt.

I have not been out  so therefore there has been no temptation to buy clothes etc  but have been busy taking photos and listing on Ebay, so far have uploaded 108 items. I still have another 40 or so to load up, hubby really wants to go out tonight to  but I cannot be really bothered. We will see, catch you all later.

afraid i succumbed and bought a lovely strawberry pink short skleeve cotton jumper from Laura Ashley yesterday. i did love it though for £9 originally £35 and i wore it last night.

do these kind of count in a sense as they are reduced bargains so i am money saving. i also went to the optician and bought new glasses at £270 but i haven't bought any for over 5 years' and my eyes have changed. also i had a 20% off voucher and a free eye test from Dolland.

    Hi MM

I am feeling poo at the moment, but your post did make me smile :rotfl:Your LA jumper could count as your 1 item a month ;).
  • sorry you are feeling down Debbie. i will feel like this on wed as i have to go back to work. i am off to Oxford St with my daughters today so will have to stay strong.

Thanks MM still feeling under the weather, didn't go out last night either.

I love Oxford Street and the shopping, DD and I used to go to London every year for a long weekend shopping, theatre, Covent Garden & Harrods.

Haven't been for a couple of years as she has been at UNI.

Have a good day MM and be strong :D

Well I've not bought any new clothes since the start of the challenge!
Not been tempted either. I'm really awful with toiletries and have steeled myself to work through what we have. I never did list what I had as I just couldn't face looking through it all!
I've managed to use up a couple of things by only taking the ends of things with us on holiday which meant that we all had to use the same toiletries. I've decanted some almost used shower gels into tiny bottles and will take them with us when we go swimming. DD swims every week so will use them gradually. It seems to be easier to use things in nibbles!
Anyhoo, off to get ready for work and use one of my christmas facial scrubs.

I'm joining in for the month of September. Had a mini blow out yesterday and am feeling very guilty about it today! :(

So, apart from some wellies that I need for a festival next weekend (will buy them tomorrow after work), no clothes or accessories for me this month.

I'm terrible with make up and nail varnishes, just bought a new Barry M one today so will be keeping away from them too!

Today I now have 135 items listed on Ebay, 12 have bids so I am happy :D.

Popped out today for some food items and bypassed New Look, Cult, Boots, Superdrug and Oasis :p.

I'd like to join you as well! No clothes, no undies, no toiletries till 1st Sept 2010! I have so much stuff that doesnt get worn and I am actualy looking forward to revisiting it all and bringing it out of hibernation. Plus I certainly have enough stored toiletries to keep the whole family going for a year.
  • i was quite good yesterday. bought bathmat and jeans for my daughter. did buy some Liz Earle cleanser as my daughters had a skincare session and got some free samples to try. i think Liz Earle stuff is excellent. also easier to put it away for when my cleansers run out and not have to pay postage.

lots of lovely clothes around. i think i will find it harder when it does get cold as you will want to buy new stuff. this thread is good because it gets you to think hard about what you are buying and do you really need it.

if i ever see my daughters i will put some stuff on ebay as i don't even know how to put the photos on the system.
