I have the feet of a cavewoman - remember we have no carpet down in the hallway.. I'm walking barefoot on concrete everything I step out the lounge!
Anything between my ankles and shoulders, I'm fine with.. but then it's not my amazing* hip bones or exceptional* shoulderblades which are on display to Joe Public when I walk down the street, is it?(*mega exagerations, but you know what I mean!

Sami, did you phone about CB? I forgot about CTC until my mum turned up and distracted me even more
Apparently I'm being graced with the morning to myself (and Rhys) tomorrow so I'll try to do it then..

yay that pump has sold BIN (I feel kinda guilty that its horrid, but maybe they will like it, afterall someone must like it or they wouldnt be for sale!)
I was the same when I sold the doppler I bought on car boot for £3 that was crap and then it sold for £11I tried a TENS machine when I was in labour with Joshua, but that filled me full of static and nobody could touch me without making a big crack noise. Not good considering where you need to be touched in labour :rotfl:
Found out the other day that I wasn't even using the TENS machine right in labour so I wasn't getting any relief from it - and they stole my G&A!!!!Buttonmoons wrote: »Can't remember who asked, Searching I think, but yeah that's me in my avatar, my face isn't really ugly, just the rest of me!!
When I was lurking on here b4, my OH saw ur avvy and said 'Phwoar, she's fit'
I hate my face - no body issues really except boobs which fortunately haven't got huge again.

Hiya Glam..
Just a couple of things..
Lanolin - you know to check you're not allergic first, don't you?I've not used it myself but I remember we were told to check first (not sure how but it should be in the instructions on the box) before lathering it on
The bottles - that was Searching really, I was just confusing the issue
Sleeping through - ain't gonna happenHe's too tiny to take on / hold all the milk he'd need to see him through til morning (hence why I'm up at 5am, feeding Rhys!). Best I'd hope for is 4-5hrs, but that's sleep for him not you. Particularly not if he takes a while to settle again and then you have to express and tidy up too etc etc
Did you see Krystal's offer of help to you earlier too?
Hope you're managing to get some sleep now xxx0 -
*waves at Glam & Elle, even though they're probably tucked back up in bed .... I really should boot up the laptop and check this thread when I'm doing early-hours expressing!:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Krystaltips wrote: »Ooh, and Glam... How are you getting on with direct feeding now your milk is coming in? Are you doing it at all or just pumping? Is there anything I can help with?
I'm just pumping now - not getting much at all.
I get about 8-10ml from each breast even now the milk has supposedly come in - the MW said yesterday that it could take another week or so before I get more is that true?
Also, I don't know if I've let my milk go down fron not expressing enough?
What can I do?
I already massage before and after pumping, me and little man have skin to skin
Don't wanna waste money on an electric pump if I've blown it and let mi milk go down
thanks
thanks elle - hadn't seen this post!
Got satchets of lanolin from hospital it.'s AMAZING! My nipple looks fab now after being a bit ming!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Fenugreek is meant to be good for upping milk supply. (you can get capsules from health food places, or asda sometimes has it in the freezer section if either of you is up to making curry?) And oats. So get yourself some meusli and flapjacks

Aaaaand, I'm back - another feed, another post:rolleyes:
Rhys was whinging and I was lying there listening, thinking "what you crying for? I only fed you at 5am and it can't be more than 6.30am cos OH is still here".. Turns out, OH had slept through his alarm, was hideously late for work, and it was about time for another bottle for Rhys! :eek:0 -
Oh Jesus, my arms are aching so badly this morning from lugging that big wooden Easel around yesterday! I've got my docs app at 9:30, to get the implant removed. Hurrah!
I did ask my sister if she would come down here early today to watch Keira whilst I nipped along but she texted me this morning saying she had a sore head, waste of time blimmin asking her to do anything for you! Her and my mum are the same, if you want to find out whats really happening, wait for the text at 5am!
Keira is knackered, she isn't used to getting up at this time, she likes a whole 12hours kip her! Going to see if I can get her to nap when we get back before her nursery because otherwise when I pick her up she's going to be a giant meanie.
Going to Jimmy chungs for lunch with my friend Paul (yeah that will make me feel loooooads better about my stomach) but he heads back down to Edinburgh soon for Uni, so naturally I must go.....
Hope my arm won't be too banged up, I remember when I got it put in, 3/4 of my arm was covered in a huge bruise, yet when my sister got it put in, she didn't get one? Watch me need a sling today because they can't get it out or something!0
