Evening all..
Laptop is in my room at home (well, my parents' home..). Just trying to settle Rhys - he was asleep in the washing basket (lined with a cushion and towels) for just over an hour, but then got a bit restless; now he's liking the water sounds on the travel cot but it's going to make me need to wee all night if I have to leave it on!
Just to see how big he needed to be to fit in his walker, we put him in it for a minute.. Looks like his legs need to be twice as long as they are now!0 -

It has been known! I went for a picnic one day, she started out in the pram by the end of the road I couldn't take the yelling anymore so I stuck her in the sling and took my picnic for a walk in the pram (too much stuff to carry!) You do feel a bit of a berk pushing an empty pram but for the sake of carrying shopping... back wise I find if I haven't tied it properly and it's not pulled far enough down my back it aches but otherwise it's fine if that helps :-) (oh and the friend I went for a picnic with gave her sling a bash at some point so we were both pushing prams while carrying babies in slings!
Poo update for Glam: The child is empty, we had another one at teatime, formed but squidgy and didn't involve any yelling to get out (but a very serious face), hooray! :T
I remembered who you were Glam and everything, even your real name I should really have used it and sounded clever!
mfd: that's cos yous a funky mama with a funky pram! There's not many of them around Warrington (I think we were all at the picnic!)
I recognised Sami because she looked like Sami and Christopher looked like Christopher! 3 was tbh a good guess followed by a dreadful baby name memory demonstration!Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -

Thanks Fritha... The sling usually sits under the pram in case needed but she usually only plays up when Daddy's there to carry her so I end up pushing an empty pram then anyway... I think I can live with looking a bit foolish.... At least I won't be wearing low slung tracksuit pants and drinking from a can of Asda smartprice lager...

For all of you who would like some cake - I have some chocolate brownies here, laced with white chocolate chunks and hazelnut liquer (sp).
I'm celebrating 3 years since getting my BFP with DD and the 3rd anniversary of my 30th birthday.
I've not really had chance to catch up tonight so hugs to anyone who would like one.
I'm usually pushing an empty pushchair whilst DD walks, but as we live near a busy bypass I like to put her in the pushchair when walking along side in or crossing it.
MDWProud to be dealing with my debts
