    Hi MM - Welcome back!
(I've just gone and checked i've packed the rain macs!) :D

DS and DD1's stuff is packed. I'm meant to be doing mine and DD2's now, but i'm having a tea-break. ;)

Got to and from the airport in one piece, sticking to/below the speed limit for the trip home! But I swear FIL was constantly checking the mirrors/speedo as I drove! :rotfl: Luckily i'd bought a paper from the petrol station on my way out - so that kept him occupied for most of the journey.

Glad Docs went well Rmac - sometimes you just 'feel better' having spoken to someone!

Yey Searchie - 15 Feb sounds sooooo far away! My going back date is 26th Oct - far too soon (but add 4 weeks annual leave to that!).........and I still haven't started to think about childcare.

Weezl - thanks for popping on and letting us know you're still here! Hope you're ok - you know we're all here if/when you need us. :grouphug:

To stay with my bestest Uncle and Auntie, just outside Dublin.
They said it's rained for the past week, so I won't bother with the shorts & flip flops! :D

I'm not looking forward to the boat trip - we've flown every other time, but now there's five of us (6 including my mother who's tagged on), we need our big car!

OH still hasn't forgiven me for one thing I said when we first started dating. He suggested we should go camping, and in my very immature way, I told him I'd rather break up than go camping with him! Oops!

Oh, and after going to the clinic and for coffee yesterday, I'm going to a coffee morning tomorrow! Meeting up with all the NCT ladies, one has even offered me a lift there!

I feel sad for all our sad members though, wish I could offer practical support or advice or something, but hugs will have to do.

Hope our missing members come back. Weezl - if you fancy a totally distracting conversation about very random things, we are good for that! Hugs to all those who need them.

    And me! :(
My mum phoned them for a chat when she found out my sister was gay  She wasn't suicidal over it, just wanted someone completely unconnected to the family to talk to about it. Was mourning the loss of the "normal" life she was expecting for sis and all that, I think.
I second the hugs for Weezl! xxx
I knew i was forgetting someone  bless mummy Gee it must be difficult as a parent in that position

remember that you don't have to send him for all of the sessions - if you think it would be beneficial for you both you could start at 2 sessions and build up (in Scotland you get 5 - normally 5 mornings or 5 afternoons, I presume it's similar with you in the darkest depths of england-land :p)
MacLaren - it's a black aluminium frame with a red and grey seat. I like it :D It came assembled, I just had to add the hood and basket - very easy. TBH it is the most basic model and doesn't recline. If I was to go and spend money on one I would probably buy the quest (the next step or 2 up) as the extra features are worth it - but as a holiday buggy I can't fault it at first glance. I just need to think about a sun shade - any tips? Also I wonder if it's worth buying a cheapy travel protector bag? any thoughts?
here in England we get 12.5hrs that has to be over at least 3 days (I think) I think it would be 2.5 days I wouldn't do morning or afternoon because thats too much faff IMO when I want to send him to one in the next town that's 20-40mins travel time depending on rush hour or not
I've got a kiddicare buggy bag but i've never used it :o Chris's buggy will be put in it for storage when i get to it tho.
not sure about sun cover, there's too many kinds! canopy, raincover style, bendy

MFD - while I remember, have you applied for EHIC cards yet? Ours came very quickly. :D

    ooh thanks for reminding me!!

well its taken me about an hour to do this post so I bet all that is now pointless :rotfl:

OH, those 12.5 hours a week government funding. Can you use it over 3days at a private nursery that accepts it? I'm just thinking for when I *hopefully* start college, it will be over AT LEAST 3days, the college pays 50% and I was hoping the 12.5 hrs could go towards the rest of the fee?

Think she's over it now but it came as a big shock at the time - she'd already had underage sex and a pregnancy scare to deal with from my sis.. wasn't expecting her to come out as gay as well!

Yay, go Feelie! :D Once you get your driving licence they'll be no keeping you in! :p Any news on sorting lessons? How far did you get with learning before? :)

I agree about randomness.. plus Weezl, Mel, Button - are you ready? Economy Gastronomy is on in ten minutes :D

I've just got a bargain on Pampers Wipes from Tesco Direct. Box of 9 for £10, then they're on 3-for-2 so 27 packs for £20, then I've doubled up £10 of Clubcard vouchers so 27 packs for £10 :D On a usual price (does anyone ever pay that?!) of £2.25 per pack, that's a saving of over £50 :D

Mel - I am seriously leaning towards a child minder. They're more flexible most of the time compared to nurseries and with our jobs that's a huge consideration.
the only problem with a childminder is that if they are ill you're stuck.

on the going back to work thing, i really dont know what to do. i always planned to go back part time and aim to do 4 days a week to cover the amount i get now in MA, as we can just about survive on that and not have to scrimp too ridiculously. but i'm now swaying towards not really wanting to leave my little man, which is weird, i never thought i'd feel like that  we are currently entitled to about £5 a week in housing benefit, but if i go back for just one day a week we'd get £40 short of our rent which would make it affordable? but i feel like it would be wrong to do so when technically i have got a job to go to... also if i did go back i'd be claiming childcare tax credits so either way i'm scrounging i suppose? i just dont know what to do for the best :(

weezl, i'm glad you popped in today, i was worried for you :grouphug: its been said already but i'm always here on PM or FB if you want a chat :)
