Izzy found everyone in the packed train very interesting yesterday. I'm sure they probably found my nipple very interesting too, but never mind. That's what it is for and all that

Krystaltips wrote: »Tia What is it your struggling with when it comes to feeding lying down? Maybe I can help? I find it easiest I think... But mainly because my boobs just kind of droop to the bed so they're at perfect feeding height... It's certainly a lot easier once they realise what they need to do... Caitlyn rolled over and latched onto my pyjama top the other morning, she was in the perfect position, just a little too quick LOLMy_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Krystal beat me to it but can you explain why?
I lie down, have tried arm under a pillow and arm cradling Amber, lie her on her side, I try to tilt back so my nipple is positioned, then try to get he at the right height, fight with her arms and hands... then can't work out how to get her to latch onWhen she does her head is at the wrong angle and she can't breathe but I can't pull her body any closer to me. My nipples point down to my feet,so think it's a case of my fat belly getting in the way, my nipples too far down and her being too small to manage to latch on without help (she just gets nipple if she does it herself).
I need to spend time practising during the day when she is not starving and I'm not sleepy. Or step by step pictures.0 -

We have christmas tree shaped ones, but I don't use them for baby food as they are tiny... I'd LOVE lego shaped ones though, that would make my day!
My Mum brought me a box of Milk Tray (not a myserious man in a suit, sadly) earlier (birthday present my Granny got, but she's not allowed them) and I've eaten half the top layer already. I don't know if I should leave the bottom layer for DH or scoff the lot and hide the evidenceIt is a moral dilema.
Anyway, I'm off to bed before I have to get up again.Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009
