we have had a drop in baby girl's weight this week. think it relates to a few things, she did have a growth spurt a few weeks back, but the main thing is her not taking a lot of milk. spoke to HV about it today and will try a few different things.

((hugs)) Hope everything is okay with you both. Will keep fingers crossed that your plan works nicely.
Thanks feely, she's slightly better, can feed from both sides now and she's had a couple of minutes sitting in the armchair this morning until she noticed... I don't mind so much at the moment... There's worse places to be stuck than lying on your bed with your baby...

That's good! Toby won't feed in front of OH today, he is far more interesting to look at!

I have seen people talking about ice-cube trays but I can't find ones with lids  (not that I have really been looking, just on and off when I am out) I wouldn't want to use a normal ice-cube tray...all the food would get freezer burn

    I don't bother offering separately ;) :rotfl:

MFD - i am reading back so someone may have suggested somewhere, but my local Boots sell these. i think it's 2 trays for £4 or something like it. if you need, fairy mail is an option :D

me, i justse the ice cube trays and wrap them in cling film and it's been okay to date.

The monster still has a bit of a weird belly button so we've been told not to bathe her till it's clean and dry. She's three weeks old tomorrow and has only been washed with a wet flannel while the bits not being washed are hidden in a warm towel.

The belly button's approaching normal so soon I'll be able to break out the baby bath. I'm vaguely embarrassed, although she gets topped and tailed in the mornings and a flannel wash in the evening so it's not as though she's terribly disgusting. She does tend to flail in her own spit up though, so I'm not sure how clean she could be considered...

But her skin will be lovely and soft!

Caz, DH used to do that, I would be up at night then out at work then come home and have to take over cos he was stressed. Never seen him do it for me when he was working though.....

AngelFairy, the boys did that too at times (formula fed). Hope everything is ok

I still haven't mastered feeding lying down :(

I still think your all scary btw...

Took me so long to type that last post on the iPod a whole page was filled!! We have hearts, jigsaw and star ice cubes... Jigsaw ones are my favourite!

I use disposables overnight too j's... Caitlyn hates being in a wet nappy and I don't fancy being woken because of it... Did I mention she slept from 10ish last night to 05:50 had a feed until 06:08 then slept till 9! I would be happier about it if I could get a good nights sleep too but my back hurts that much through the night it keeps waking me up... It's nearly as bad as when I was pregnant!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Hi Everyone

DD had a lovely day playing with daddy.

Food - I'm trying to instill good eating habits in DD but it's difficult with a DH who will only eat peas and carrots! Fortunately DD hasn't picked up on it and will eat/try anything - her favourite fridge snack Olives!!!

Only shop bought weaning food DD had was cereal - I found it much cheaper to just leave out the salt out of our food and give it DD.

Ice Cube Trays - I used the AK ones they were brilliant, it made combining stuff much easier.

Go Rhys for astounding the medical world.

For ages I've been stressing about DD's speech - it didn't seem that developed but the last few days multi word phrases have been getting much clearer and is copying everything we say!

Missed Underage and Pregnant I was cooking - I'll have to catch it on repeat.

    MDW
Proud to be dealing with my debts
    DD Katie born April 2007!
3 years 9 months and proud of it
