Just been catching up, I read your post on the thread I started yesterday and wanted to say something but wasn't sure what. So sorry to hear about what's happening. I know you've been together for a good few years and it's not something you'd do lightheartedly. I think maybe being apart for a while would be good to give you some headspace anyway, these things aren't fixed and you can still have the opportunity to talk with OH about things if that's what you want as you seem to get getting on well despite things.

So sorry I missed your birthday but sending hugs anyway I think you've known for a long time this was going to happen haven't you? Most of us do need to feel cherished in our relationships and more often than not you've been very sad in yours so I can understand why you are making this decision. Nothing is set in stone though is it, so who knows what may happen in the future.
Hope it all works out smoothly and you know where we all are :-)

Well an expensive week with the kids but worth it and fairly controlled. Bad day overall as I had a viewing for a really nice flat that was close by and seemed perfect. Thought I was the first to see but turns out there was a ciuple before and after me and both already had the application forms. Anyways I took a form and was told if more than 1 application the landlord would decide. She said she couldnt take the form there and was busy with viewings all day. So I said Ill hand them in on Tues at 9 am.

On the way into town taking kids to ondoor play area I see the office is open . Ex OH rings them to check I can put the application form in a pay the holding deposit and they say yes. 30 mins later I walk in the office to find the agent sat with the first couple :mad:.

Why waste my time? I knew at that moment I didnt stand a chance they could charge twice the reference/credit search fees for a couple and their attitude towards me was so condesending I walked out.

I missed out on a lovely house the other day because someone didnt pass a message on.

Anyways I do have somewhere to see Tuesday and Ive been promised that Im the first so fingers crossed. It is cheaper so maybe I have been lucky?!!

Will keep this diary going until I get accepted for a place then It will begin a new chapter with an increase in debt I need to control before I can start to clear it again.

Thank you I do feel stronger and that I will cope well. Having MSE and all my friends here have been :A invaluable :A.


My family is worried especially Mum so talked to her yesterday and said something along the lines of " You know all the women in our family have to be strong as the men aren't"!

Ex OH isnt perfect but he has changed just not enough.
