Wol, go eat, and try to RELAX A BIT !!!!! You're no good to anyone, yourself included, if yer cream-crackered and stressed up to the eyeballs. Take a time-out, if only for half-hour, and collect yourself, chill, and if needs be a glass of vino. You and the piggies will feel the benefit, honest :)

Aye aye Capn Jack sorr...:beer:...(says she two sheets to the wind after a botte of vino..:o..)..

  • Wol Honey ....sending lots of <<<hugs & cuddles>>> to you sweetheart.

I have tears as I read your account of the last few days...we love our companions so much & thats why it hurts so much when we lose them...but we would`nt have it any other way really.

You are a strong lady & have been through so much...I find your diary inspirational & despite everything you seem to keep a smile & get stuff done.

Have a good week....I hope that there is some sunshine in it for you.

    Hi everyone

Greetings from wet and windy Sussex (wet and windy because of both the weather and the piggies :rotfl::rotfl:)

Well the vet is stumped - aso she has made a referral for the whole family to see a new vet 20 miles away who is apparently a piggie expert. I am taking ALL of them :eek: for an appoitnment tomrorow at 9am- so need to sort out the pet carrier logistics tonight :confused:and update the full case histories I wrote yesterday evening ready for my vet today.

Feeling better than the weekend but still wobbling thanx to Grommie having a bad wheezing attack on the sofa last night and Dippy Tart continued antics :mad::mad: which included having to have a rush meeting today with her in Chichester, inbetween seeing one client and then getting back in time for the vets

    Warning Official rant in progress:
She really doesn;t get it. She has no appreciation of anybody or anything other than her own agenda and her own cloud cuckoo land.....:wall::wall:

I say "OK, you didn;t do the work last week when I told you I WAS available to check and advise.........and now, because you wasted last week, you need to do it this week to prepare for this important meeting on thursday (and expect me to accompany you to that meeting as your represenative and put my reputation on the line). In addition, you expect me to just drop all my other clients and plans this week and be available to answer your questions and do your work for you at your convenience and to your timetable (her planning skills are useless). Sorry sunshine, but it doesn;t work like that, you are getting my time for free and it is not to be abused... and by the way this is now the fifth time we've had the same conversation."

However I said "I am prepared to alter my plans and squeeze you in at this time at this place but I MUST leave at 3pm"....hece the meeting today.

Does she respect that? Does she heck....., finally got up to leave at 3.10pm and she still tried to stop me going to answer "just one more question" (What annoyed me was that we would have had time for all her questions if she had emailed me the spreadsheet she had completed for me to check yesterday afternoon instead of me turning up to the meeting to check it on the computer screen - what a waste of my time- I have explained to her many times before about planning preparation and getting the most our of our time together but she still deosn;t get the message) What is especially infuriating about this is that I gave her free consultancy for a total of 7 hours in order to achieve specific outputs and despite my continued best efforts, she has, as always frittered away my time. So today I just looked at her and said - Im leaving now and will not anwer any more questions. It;s your loss as you didn;t enable me to prepare in advance of this meeting so you could get the most out of my time here today

Have decided to get my hair done tomorrow afternoon for the Edinburgh meet in two weeks time.:beer:

OMG _pale__pale_ as I am writing this my mum has just sent an email to the family _pale__pale_- my Daddy had a TIA this lunchtime and ended up in A & E ..:eek:.she says he's OK now and discharged into the hands of a TIA clinic. He has been told not to work so hard on the new house...she was very frightened...her email is very distressing and describes the details.....I'm very upset about my Dad.....:cry:. ..I need to go....too much family baggage going on here...

Sorry to hear about your dad's TIA - I am sure the staff at the clinic will monitor him carefully and he will get good advice on any lifestyle changes he may need to make to reduce the chances of it happening again. Certainly he needs to heed the advice about taking things a bit easier. It also sounds like you could do with taking similiar advice yourself - and I am sure your usual friends on here will say the same. Take care of yourself, whatever you do.

Sorry to hear about your dad and about how the piggies have to visit a new piggy vet.

As for Dippy Tart..she has wasted 7hrs of your time, now you start charging out at £150 an hour or more - she isnt likely to waste your time then if she realises she has to pay. I cannot abide folks that just take - like her, she doesnt deserve to be in business..I would also make myself unavailable for the meeting on Thursday (you have an excuse now - your dad is ill).

Keep your chin up Wol..sending you kind thoughts:grouphug:

  • Hope you get stupid client sorted- have to say i meet awkward people a lot and it is hard work, and frustrating when time is wasted- but i get paid for it so can't complain too much.
Much hugs for piggies-hope vet sorts them.
((X)) For you too. Take care of your self Wol a very stressful time at the moment with weather and piggies and family. x
