Medics and ologists never mix...or if they do they become a bad mix:eek:
I want to know how Z manages to type the p u s s y word and I am not allowed to type the words to an edward lear poem called the owl the pu$$y cat without being edited:mad::
I have an unfortunate side effect from some waxing that I had done the other day - my underarms itch like crazy and I look like a baboon when I try to scratch:eek: Dear young pharmacist recommended E45 cream and anti histamines - the anti histamines don't work so methinks I will either have to see the quack or Helen the practice nurse next week for some stronger antihistamines because my poor old body had gone into overdrive:eek:
I don't know what is worse - the camera going down or the camera going up:eek: I can remember having to swallow the camera and the hospital had made a bed up for me so I asked them why they did that so they said we are going to sedate you so I says no you're not I am going christmas shopping afterwards - I was the only brave soul that day do swallow without sedation although I did have some banana tasting gloop sprayed on the back of my throat to numb it. Yes, I did go christmas shopping too:rotfl:
Today I have been mainly spending money on a shiny new handbag, a necklace some fresh fruit, lunch, bread, donuts, meat and e45 and a bunch of crysanths for a £1 and two antique glass bowls cheap, oh and a Saturday paper so I dont need to buy a paper now for the rest of the week. I need to get petrol tomorrow so that I can drive to the NEC next week.
Now I likes the trade fairs but am already bored with weddings - I have a wedding fair to do next weekend which isnt my idea of fun...I would much rather organise the wedding fair and get money than organise a wedding..yawn..I am so bored with it all (or is that because I have no clients?)
Hope you manage to find some nice plants for the garden and that Bandit's nadgers op goes well.0 -
Hi All
Just a quickie update on Bandit. It's not good news I'm afraid, The wound abcess has been removed..and a very neat job done of closing the wound..but the vet found that it is linked to another abcess that has developed deeper in his abdomen that can;t be removed. Vet has managed to wash out this second abcess and injected antibiotics directly into the area to kill off residual bugs but is concerned this will not work (piggie abcesses are tough to shift unless you can surgically remove them) .There's an outside chance the deeper abcess may become walled off (although the infective area could always remain inside him albeit contained)....but more likely it could get bigger and adhere to his organs.....or burst leading to peritonitis. So need to monitor him closely for any signs of going downhill - and prepare myself for the fact that he may have to be put to sleep. Time will tell...but in his favour, he's a tough little fighter and although he is very subdued and needs a towel wrapped round him to keep him warm, he is eating and poohing which is a good sign...
Fingers and paws are all crossed....
