    Which one's perky? :o

Neck and shoulder's still painful - keep waking up from about 5am onwards. For me weekends don't usually have mornings!

Hoping Bandit's on the mend now.
(I'll let Z explain the profanities - probably best not to put it on the open forum though, at least not for any length of time).

S!!!!horpe - hey that should be allowed :D

    Hi George

Sorry to hear about the pain and lack of sleep. :grouphug::grouphug:. No wonder you're feeling a bit worn down atm.

Are you having any treatment for the neck and shoulder (eg physio?). I had a neck/shoulder problem that made no headway with the physios and was finally fixed privately by a McTimony chiropracter (no snap and jerk.....just a "laying on of hands"........). It took some time with regular sessions....but even after the first one there was an appreciable lessening of the pain and discomfort.

Don;t know whereabouts in the country you are but I'd certainly recommend my chap (I even threatened Numpty with him as he's got neck/shoulder probs too!!).
    Alternatively try this website:
    http://www.mctimoney-chiropractic.org/

As for the profanities.......I shall make a discrete enquiry to Z ;):rotfl:

Hope you start to feel better soon

Sorry to hear that Bandit is under the weather or should that be under the towel? Let's hope the abscess goes.

George it no fair that both you and Z can post naughty words and I can't even post ordinary ones that are no so bad:rolleyes:

Not much done today in the Horace household - got up late, did two lots of washing up, used up remaining stock to make a beef stew which actually tastes nicer than the first one I did the other day:rolleyes: must remember next time to add a few splashes of worcester sauce and a few squirty globbetts of tomatto purree:D I then settled down to watch Four Weddings on Living TV and had to switch the tv off because the brides were horrible - it was enough to put me off weddings for life:rolleyes:

Busy next week with trade show over 2 days at NEC and I will go to some of the talks because I want an edge over my competitors. I am now planning on organising wedding fairs and pocketting the cash instead of having stands at them:D

Have been suffering the effects of Agent Picolaz without having it at all after eating an apple without washing it (it must have been sprayed with something:eek:). Oh and the E45 cream is working its magic, I havent been scratching my armpits like a baboon today.

Still haven't managed to undo the nut behind my sink to get at the plug seeing as this twit tightened the screw on the actual plug itself and now it fits snuggly in the hole and cannot move up nor down:mad: - why do I have to fiddle?

Ey up Wol and gang :D

quick update from the house of 'Jack :)

knee doing reasonably well, even though physio recons I'd been putting too much weight on it  so with that and the now-cleared-up infection, it's probably delayed full recovery by a few weeks :( Got Ortho outpatients tomorrow to check on progress (why isn't there a bite-your-nails smiley )

Mrs G-J is bl00dy kernackered bless her :(:( , she's been a real trooper this last month, despite suffering with siatica since well before my op...and Mini-Gun #2 has been a little nightmare to boot !!!

So, all in all, things only as good as "Reasonable" at the mo, but on a brighter note I should be off work for several more weeks yet, nowhere near off the crutches, never mind driving :j, so you ain't getting rid of me just yet ;)

As for you, well, bless ya you've had allsorts of trials and tribulations and piggie nightmares :( Hope things continue to pick up though, even if in small steps ;)

:grouphug: to ya hun, keep smiling ;)

    Hi Horace:hello::hello:

I thought at first the filter selectively allowed men to post norty stuff but not us gals...then i realised you were called Horace :rotfl::rotfl:.......and ZTD...well not really a gender-specific name is it? :rotfl::rotfl: (Edit: Sorry Z no offence intended :o:p)

Beef stew - try adding red wine vinegar for an extra zing (I add white wine vinegar to my bolognese )

:eek: to the apple - are you sure it wasn;t something eaten 24 hours previously? Hope things start settling down soon. Glad to hear you at least have your armpits back under control :rotfl::rotfl:....but what on earth was in the wax to cause that reaction in the first place?:confused:...or maybe it was the "soothing gel" they put on afterwards? I would think twice about going back there again. (Have to say I opt for the old fashioned DIY razor in that area.....and as for my eyebrows, no-one can go near them as one tweak with a pair of tweezers and my whole eye area swells up and my eyes start streaming :()

You're clearly a born organiser and love doing events - but I notice you seem to be moving towards the exhibitions/coprorate/commercial stuff rather than the weddings. Is this because you haven't got any customers yet? Very happy to help you devise a cunning plan to drum up some business for you...from whichever clients :D

:mad::mad: to the plug....would frustrate the hell out of me too.....I don;t stand a chance on anything plumbing related unless I become a contortionist with a vice like grip and grow an extra 2 arms. :rotfl::rotfl:

Good luck with the trade fair and the industrial espionage

Ha ha Jack - glad to see I'm not the only one getting the damned if you do damned if you don;t lectures from the physio's :rotfl::rotfl:

I had reverse situation with my hand last year - first meeting they said I hadn;t massaged it enough to get it mobile....second meeting they said I should keep doing what I was doing...third meeting (3 onths post -op) i was doing OK but was told I had developed CRPS so needed to do more massage......6 months later i stopped because it inflamed the hand each time and just didn;t seem to get any better..No more inflammation but did allow us to identify there were possibly real problems relating to the nerves..........and I now I get told I have a neuroma - not CRPS - possibly nerve damage owing to all the massaging.

You're clearly a sensible bloke - do what feels right for you.....and if it starts to become inflamed or swollen then for goodness sake stop and rest it

Good luck tomorrow....those physios can be really fierce :eek:

and hugs to Mrs GJ...........hope it starts to get easier for you all soon :grouphug::grouphug:

Do please keep popping in here....it's always nice to see you :beer:

Wol, (un)fortunately (:rotfl:) you won't stop me popping in here to see ya's all :D How would I cope without tales of the riverbank and the piggies ??? oh, and how you're getting on too, of course ;)

Anyhow, think I'd better go shoot some zombies before hitting the sack....still gotta get up early to prep the Mini-Guns for school, even though it's taking twice as long at the mo due to the limited mobility :(

Soooooo.....take it easy :) and, in the holy words....

    I'll be back !!!! ;):D :rotfl:
