    Hi gang

I am just slinking in and will slink out again in a while because I dont want Wol to shout at me because I still havent been for that chest xray:eek: Anyway I did nothing over Easter - I slept late and watched the tv and went to bed late and slept late and watched more tv.

Have been doing bits n bats this week - collected my spex on Wednesday, did a mystery shop and hit the sales in the dept store and came out with a digital photo frame that has a 1Gb internal memory as well as taking cards. Got myself a bargain too from the Lancome stand - bought some handcream and some perfume (gawd knows why I bought the perfume - I don't want it) just to get the freebie gift worth £71 and then they tried to get me to buy a third item to get a full sized something free but by then I was feeling tired. My free gift is a small bottle of Hypnose Senses perfume (their new one), a tub of gloop, some eye makeup remover, a mini lipstick, some mascara, a tube of genifique and a full size makeup palette. The makeup remover and perfume have been put in my overnight bag that I take on hols..it folds out and hangs from the door. Oh and I got myself a posh sun hat so my neck doesnt get sunburn again. I had fun trying on hats.

Got a letter from the taxman today to say that I need to do another tax return..yawn. So I am gathering together my receipts (need a new stapler as mine has mysteriously vanished), staple them to a sheet of paper with a total on that, I shall be very organised. Am having a chat to someone tomorrow about reciprocal links and I am in the process of updating my website, writing an advert for posh wedding mag (will get a lot from it). Need to place a small order with Italian Options as I need to get a bag of plastic favour discs for someone on MSE. Life is too busy but I am taking time out during the day to chill.

My suitcase is slowingly being unpacked..thankfully its all clean. I have done some washing, washed up, tried to start my car which is deader than a dodo (need a new battery as this one dies quite easily) so need to get that sorted. Things are coming together and I am feeling loads better thanks to potters catarrh pastilles.

Anyway I have bored you with my shenanigans..which even involved me stomping into the jobcentre and calling them jobsworths as they were rude to some pertemps folks who were on the public highway outside the jobcentre asking if folks were looking for a job - I waved a piece of paper showing that pertemps are funded by jobcentreplus to provide free training etc to the unemployed. It is the first time I have set foot in there since I signed off - the place reeked of dope and there was a vinegary faced woman at the counter. Might have sold a wedding dress to one of the pertemps girls too:j

Well done on the garden and the forthcoming restorations..did the tv thingy work then?

Horace, may be too late but i have about 70 plastic favour dishes from when i made my wedding favours.

Wol, hope all is well with you and your piggies. My piggies have been moved outside into the fresh air and the bunny is now semi free range in that he's got his run attached to the hutch and can come and go as he pleases now.

    Hi All

Hope you all had a good Easter. Mine was very chilled out - and spent in the enjoyable company of a few MSE friends. I was very restrained on the choccy but unfortunately not so restrained on the vino:o

Finally sent our simian cousin back oop norf today - at least he has been fed enough to last him a few months ;) and he has lots of piggie kisses and cuddles to keep him going ...oooh and an unfrozen shoulder courtesy of the chiropracter :D

I've not been on much as I am a bit "rabbit in the headlights" atm as I start to realise the enormity of the building work about to be undertaken :eek::eek: (plus associated logistics of packing everything up and moving it into storage - it's like the flood all over again _pale__pale_) and how this will tie in with my existing work and social commitments. Also the fact that I (and the top totty :D) shall have to work to a very tight timetable in order to be ready for the Rave. Doesnt; help that I am up to the eyeballs in work for the next two weeks with immoveable deadlines - and at the same time I am meant to be packing everything up.

This weekend, I've got work to do, a lot of packing/shifting things around, and all sick piggies except Grommie (and possibly Beechie depending upon space upstairs) will be moved back into Piggie Palace. PP is also going to have to act as a storage for the kitchen stuff (appliances and units removed while floor is being done) - sounds great except that unfortunately the piggies can;t be moved outside until end of May when there is no chance of a last minute frost. I've also got to work out how to save the food in the freezer and how I will be living over the next three months. Half my wallpaper I;ve found out has been discontinued ....but at least they are still making the same kitchen units as we may need a couple of replacements.

I shall be spending some time this weekend just trying to get my head around everything and sorting out a proper project timetable as I'm really feeling quite overwhelmed.....and a bit freaked out if I'm honest...didn;t help that we have had police/serious crime/blue flashing lights and sirens crawling all over the area since 6.30am this morning. A body was found 2 miles up my road (which has therefore been closed off all day) although it is now re-opened and the latest news is that they are now treating the death as unsuspicious (the person hanged themselves from a tree :() .........probably why I just duveted and read a book all afternoon and evening :o

Anyhow - I;ve had no booze tonight and tomorrow is another (sunny) day so I'm off to catch up on some sleep.

    Nite all
