She'll be looking for an uncle Numpty grinny pig sitter:D
while Wol goes on the course :T:T:T

Well Numpty and KC - you will be very pleased to hear that I started spring cleaning today,:eek::eek::eek:......commencing with the utility room.
All cupboards washed, decluttered and reorganised.......floor given an intensive clean....paintwork and walls wiped....(still need to do UVPC window frames)....and most importantly........all traces of arachnoids obliterated :j:j......ahem - just in the utility room so far you understand :rotfl::rotfl:

The cunning plan is to get the whole downstairs done, systematically doing a room each day as I have decided I will be taking the week off and not working (although clients may have other ideas :p)

    *****:mad::mad::mad::mad::(:(:(:(:(

I do not BELIEVE what my mother has just said to me tonight ( and I have known her longer than you folks!)

Apparently the brain tumour I was diagnosed with 10 years ago (which i still have) is NOT and NEVER HAS BEEN cancer (cue confused smiley)..not sure why she thinks that (asked her to justify her statement but she is emphatic adn doesn;t need to justify!!)....

All I can think is maybe it's because
a )as long as I keep taking the tablets twice a week it iwill be classified as benign...(cue another confused smiley) or
    b) because at the time this diagnosis was going on for me (and I was faced with all the real possibility of dying, brain op etc) .....she had two grandchildren on the way courtesy of my sis and my sis-in-law...which ( 10 years ago and up to the present date)are clearly more important to her than her first born who hasn;t "delivered"

Sheesh....I am more than distraught...I am not really quite sure how to cope with this ...obviously it has been suspected.for some time..and maybe tonight I bit the bullet and I forced her hand...OK I'm glad I know where I really stand...but it doesn;t make it any easier....

Quite happy to consider any offers of taking up residence in a wormery

    All duvets welcome

    My self esteem is shot.

And John Prescott thinks he's a stud-muffin - and doesn't need to justify...

How emphatic people are is usually directly related to how wrong they are.

They don't need to justify BECAUSE THEY CAN'T (and they know it).

Benign cancer is still a cancer, just like the Mother of All Drivel, is still a mother...

If you hit her over the head with a shovel, I have the wormery for her.

Actually scratch that - you'll have to hit her somewhere vital instead.

It's easier when you can see the agenda in her words. And full frontal isn't the best choice of words given the John Prescott "Stud Muffin and I don't need to justify it" picture... ;)
