Kaz so sorry to hear about your beloved cat. xxxx
Pigpen....did you mention books, what kind of books?:D
Not too bad a day today, took 2 of my usual allicinmax capsules alongside my other vits and supplements and wow, I've had a much better day than the last 2. Myself and the girls have manged to clear loads in the garden, cut hedges and bushes, cleared up and done 2 dump runs. I even managed to clear out the chickens. Amazing. The allicin that I take kills MRSA so whatever it's doing to me is really helping me to function which is brilliant.:T
Considering the last 2 days I've spent mainly in bed I'm just glad that I have been able to function a bit better today.
Need to get to docs tomorrow or thursday though for sick note, whilst I could do all of the above, I still needed to rest and 'pace' in order not to exhaust myself. But I'm really, really pleased with how today went.;):DDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Sexym - love the story about the cake
Pen-pen - that was a fowl joke....
Welcome Milosmum
Toots - I need a Tuesday star please! I have achieved kitchen nirvana
It's been a busy day. Ended up going out just before lunch to meet a few council bods and a bus to do a trial run of the 'no not THERE but over THERE' thing I talked about last week.
Was fun in its own way. Have definitely worked out who one of the hostile bods at the town hall is - he's been around for the whole of the time we've been campaigning.
Waited ages for them to turn up and then joked that well, it just confirms that buses are always late aren't they? Then cue lots of driving around in said bus (and BB got to have her first, second and third bus ride too!) and discussing - yes you can do that - no we can't - yes you can etc. etc.
Then because there was still argument about designation of land I have spent the afternoon and evening going through my archive of maps and plans and conveyances and have just about finished a definitive document which will be emailed off in the morning.
So that's been my day. I am pooped and am going to bed. Night night everyoneI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Evening all,
Congratulations Jo i'm so pleased for you.
Hugs Kaz, i'm sorry for your loss.
I've not done any flying today. I went to Nev's this morning to see her DD's new pets, then for lunch with both my Sisters.
Then i got a migrane:mad: which my trusty nurofen + didn't solve. So spent the majority of the afternoon / evening lying on the sofa. Oh had to bath Ds2 and put him to bed, to be fair he does it most nights anyway i just do bedtime story duty. It's gone now thankfully.
Tomorrow i'm going to visit my Dad and Stepmum with Nev and the kids so i'm not sure how much i'll get done then either.

I've had a lovely day making cup cakes and catching up with friends. Just need to get myself sorted for the morning - gym @ 7am, massage @ 10am then off to see a supplier to have lunch and have a technical product update as it might be useful for future reference...
Called HR today, and we're still working towards 31st August as my end date :j:j:j:j So will have had 2.5 weeks notice instead of three months
I need to send an email in for Friday with a few bits and pieces listed, and have a meeting on Friday and another one on Monday, then hopefully just my final session to drop off my laptop etc.
I've also been told that I have £1900 to spend on re-training, so I want to try to find a language course to do - preferably French or Italian, residential for a couple of weeks in Paris/Florence/Rome. I might also try some presentation training and possibly see about getting some more cake-decorating paid for... It's a career option after allSo lots to keep me occupied!
Jo - Congratulations on getting the job! :T:T:T:T I hope it's one that you'll enjoy and will use your talents.
Froddy - congratulations on getting your meters sorted out! It's one of those things that is so easy to put off, and it's nice to have done. Have you now sorted out a good dual fuel online deal?
JennyBee - glad to see you're being proactive. Feel free to get in touch if you want to talk
Soappie - I haven't forgotten about your CV... I just seem to have been rather busy ever since my gardening leave started :rotfl:
kazw - so sorry about your cat ((((hugs))))
Right... really do need to go to bed... see you all tomorrow at some point....0 -
All kinds of books.. from baby books, some of which are going to Jacob, to parenting books and breastfeeding books to teen books.... I need about 4000 shelves to put them all on! .. I could probably stock my own library!!
2x wash loads in I have approximately 20 loads of laundry on the kitchen floor, up the kitchen walls and on the kitchen table... I hung out one load and have the other 2 to bung in the dryer shortly.
DD1 loaded the DW and did dinner for the others and stuffed them in bed for me..
DW needs to go on again, bin in the kitchen needs emptying but I have nowhere to empty it to as the wheelies which were emptied this morning are both full, I may ring the council in the morning and say they weren't emptied today and hope they come and redo them later in the week.. would that be really bad of me? (as if I actually care!!!)
Tomorrow I MUST ring and check the whereabouts of my housing benefit claim.. the bank said they sent the papers in weeks ago and I've heard nothing from them and it is simply not good enough.
I need to decide what to do about the hospital appointment I missed on Friday. I had noone to watch the littlies so couldn't go and had no number to call them and tell them to remake the appointment.. they rang me to rebook it Friday afternoon and kept me on hold so long it cut me off... I then rang a different dept after locating a number while flinging stuff in my room on Saturday morning... they found the number I needed and I rang them back Saturday and they refused to make another appointment even though they were willing to do it less than 12 hours later and had rang me.. and said to ring back Monday.. and I didn't.. and now I don't know what to do.. ????????????
Well, I guess I should get my fluffy self to bed so I'll do tomorrows list that I had completely forgotten about and load the TD and reload both WM's... and if i get really carried away I may unload and reload the DW too!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Morning All
Lots to do today as my DR is still WIP and you can't actually get through it without standing on something! I would also like to achieve something on the lists although I will probably be concentrating on downstairs so the bathroom will probably have to wait.
Piggers - I think I need you to come and visit and help me to declutter! You're doing a brill job!
Triker - take it easy - it sounds like you did too much yesterday.
Greenbee - I hope you're out of bed - you've got to go to the gym soon.
Have a good day all
Hugs
