Jo.. congratulations!! I am so pleased you got this opportunity so quickly!! :D

Kaz.. big big hugs.. I am always devastated when i lose one of my beloved fluffy babies. Rosie obviously had a very long life in which she was loved and cared for.. and you will no doubt have lots of fond memories of her.. xxx

Mudders .. we win... we.. as in OH and I.. just spent 5.5 HOURS sorting the girls room.. I have collected all the laundry.. filled 9 BINBAGS with rubbish... have a mountain of toys to rehome and about 500 books that I have no idea where to rehome to!! I am having the rug up and thrown as soonas I can actually see the other half of it.. once I have moved the homeless toys and books.. It is absolutely vile in there!!

Unless it says otherwise it will be valid for 6 months from date of issue. But the last time the date is checked is when it is paid in by the accepting cashier, the issuer could ask for it to be returned as out of date so if you do pay it in and it is accepted you need to wait 6 working days to be sure it won't be returned ;) Failing that ask the issuer to send you a new one.

I had this issue once, and was told by the bank that cheques don't have a "Cash by date"

Off to find my list ..............

    Penny. x

BTW, DH has just reminded my of my favourite French joke. Why do the French only have one egg for breakfast? Highlight here for answer ===> Because one egg is un oeuf :rotfl:

Evening! I hope everyone has had a good day. It's been hectic here so I've not managed to get on much today. Just wanted to update as I've completed my first list!!! lol A lot of the kitchen is done as I've been keeping on top of it every day.

Wont be on much tomorrow as my little boy (20 months) has a hospital appointment which we've been waiting for for almost a year and it's a bit of a trek away. So I'll try and catch up later tomorrow or Thursday. Thank you so much for this thread. My house hasn't been so tidy for ages!

Kazwookie - huge hugs for you

    Jo - congratulations

I did manage to shift the headache in the end, and hoovered. Todays activities are limited to WM, DW and dyson though :o. Out all day tomorrow so not looking good for stars this week.

DH tired and bad tempered after a grim day at work. Time for me to go and play on the exercise bike out of his way .
