Kazwookie - I know how you feel after my 17 1/2yr old dog had to go to dog heaven chasing rabbits over the hills in heaven a week or so ago. Be thankful of the long life and if they were like an elderly relative whose time had come. It will get easier but they leave a big hole behind. I am going to put a photobook together for OH birthday as a good reminder of his long and happy life and a copy for me to. Grieve your tears out, I did and it worked, still miss him lots but crying it out helped a lot. Take care my dear x

pigpen well done with the girls room!
hope6804 it might be worthwhile trying to eat with the children, they tend to enjoy it too
    Jo well done!!

sexymouse I can imagine you would have been cross but that little story made me laugh so much, sounds like something my partner would do!
Quillion it's always my fault when things go missing too

Just been to get part of my present, 3 pandora beads to go on my bracelet. I have a present (as it's for my birthday) my star sign bead and a jigsaw piece which is blue for the boys as Autism is often symbolised by a jigsaw piece. So expensive but very pretty, I love it.

DP shocked me by cleaning the caravan out apart from the kitchen bench while I showered this morning so I did the kitchen and now it's done! He's now fell asleep after saying he had a headache, unsure if I should wake him as he won't sleep tonight. My Dad is coming down to see us tomorrow, bringing my neice and nephew who I don't get to see very much so a special day. They want to go fishing with the boys, which is free anyway at the lake here, boys caught 3 fish in todays little session so smiles all round. We got some nice meat from a butchers in Selby so did a BBQ, lovely it was, some left for tomorrow but I think I will need some more if the visitors stay for tea. Will need to have a quick tidy round, there will be 8 of us in here tomorrow so a little busy.

Hope you are all well, off to play monopoly with DS2....again!
One day I might be more organised...........

Just found a chq dated Nov 2008:o - what are the chances of getting it cleared?

Just asked DH, who is a bank manager so kind of knows all about banking practices, and he says "under the payment of debt act a cheque is valid for six years".. apparently the 6 month validity is an old practice that banks used to use, so you can still pay it in juliejim.

It is basically the same as the 6 year statute of a debt if you think about it..

I always knew Dh would be useful for something eventually...lol

Didn't think I'd get there today, took children to Pick Your Own today, was a bit of a disaster spent ages walking around the farm as not much left, but they enjoyed it, and got some rhubarb for dh so will be making him a crumble tomorow.

Looking forward to tomorows list and hoping that it's the main bedroom as really needs some tlc.

Hope everyone is okay and looking forward to some sunshine tomorow, more washing out on the line i think:T:T:T
