Been to the gym :D - thanks Julie - I manage to get there on autopilot and wake up about half way through! Try to have a rest until your migraine is gone. Give the pills a chance to work and drink plenty of water (helps them work, and being hydrated often improves things anyway).

Greenbee - when you're ready with the CV and with the leaving at the end of August will you still get 3 months pay? And top news about the training fund! :D

I hope to have more time soon, but I seem to be rather busy  I get 3 months pay in lieu of notice (although this has tax & NI deducted, and I don't get my car allowance, pension, holiday accrual, bonus accrual, benefits etc for this period). However, given the phone call I got an hour after the 'at risk' meeting I need to get things tied up as quickly as possible ;)

Does anyone know at what point I'm safe to mention that I might not actually be unemployed much longer and still keep the redundancy and get them to cough up for the training?! I'm worried they might change their minds...

Greenbee thats great news about the training. What would you like to do for a job?
Erm... next job isn't actually a problem ;) but I don't want any training for that... I SHOULD do languages, but am currently having a lovely time persuading HR that I'm seriously thinking of going into cake-making as a career :rotfl::rotfl:Maybe I should send them my FB photo album...
So is ours so I am going into town this morning.
(no of course I am not avoiding studying)

    Of course you aren't

I've had fresh figs for breakfast (from my dad's fig tree, hopefully he will deliver more on Friday as he's dropping in on his way to Devon). Watered the tomato & aubergines. Now need to shower and get myself ready for my meeting before I go for my massage. Hopefully I'll be able to spend the afternoon in the garden and sorting out what I need to do over the next couple of weeks...

I have been MIA since the weekend as I have been shattered and then working really hard trying to get cases up to date before my annual leave. So I have decided to cut right back on each day as I will have only Saturday to do everything but I will try and get GT's to help a bit - DD can clean the bathroom although as I have now locked her out of my laptop I don't expect that I will be popular this morning when she wakes up.....lol

It looks like moving day will be a week on Friday as Mum and Dad get the keys this Friday but cannot get the carpets fitted until Tuesday or Wednesday. I have to be back here on Thursday for GCSE results so Friday seemed the best option.

Sorry to read about your dear old cat, Kaz. I know how sad this can be....

Congratulations with the new job Jo.

Right off to get my work trousers out of the wm and see if I can iron them dry - mmm - might not work!!
