have just realised that the X factor is back on at 7pm!!! Im switching my phones off, opening a bottle of wine and a bar aof chocolate - and everyone else can shuffle off!Does anyone else feel downright nasty female doggy and spiteful at this time? I could cheerfully set the house on fire
(but for the mess LOL)
It’s probably too late for you to see this, but I hope you have a lovely time Kaz xx
Soappie, I’m jealous of you watching Wycliffe, I love those and Wexford too
Ellen you have had a fab money making week! Well done!
Gentle hugs Valli, hope you are feeling better now
Quillion your Sunday lunch sounds absolutely deeelicious!
Thanks Froddy for the 101 in 1001 I’ve saved it to read later
Bonsi glad you are getting some new trainers and a holiday next year, sounds like it will be good!
Me, I’m so glad you are getting some help with the move, that’s great! Sorry to hear about your ex-MIL
Big hugs Zoe, I’ve got no advice to give but it sounds like you are a great mum and I’m thinking of you all
We've had a busy weekend - DH and his dad went to collect the new car,it took 7 hours! Men!
And then we went to a mate's for the evening where he fed us spag bol and we had a good laugh at the x factor, and then today we had a lie in and then went to our Bible meeting which was lovely.
I need to hoover where the COD was and put it back there, and finish off the top drawer and all the gibble that's on the top of the COD - all the stuff that I don't know what to do with!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

He never hurt the children nor did he do anything in front of them so he continued to see them everyweekend fr the following two years. Despite him being a compleat waster and a total a*hole to me, the children enjoyed spending time with him. However we've had to go through court and cafcass to sort out acess time and they came to the agreement that it was joint residence, i had the children from sunday to thursday, him a long weekend. Things were going well'ish however on mothers day things came to a head and long story short he assulted me infront of the children. The poilce were involved, he was arrested and charged and solicitors and social workers became involved. They all advised we withdraw contact as DD1 was having terrible nightmares and had to have a little bit of councilling. She's 4. Anyway, we got a non molestation order(like an injunction so he cant come near us) and we moved house away from him and all his family. I am now fighting for full custody with minimal visitation. However i am really struggling with this. Jaimee loves her dad, and she is too smart for her own good. whilst she knows daddy was naughty and needs to be told off and she understands why she cannot see him she is obviously constantly asking about him, and asking if we can call him. I never ever wanted to stop them seeing there dad however much of a banker he is but now he has hurt them, yes it may be mentally but that can be worse sometimes, i dont know if i can trust him. I am in moral turmoil atm an its eating me up. Im pulling my hair out and i dont know what to do  Its having such a bad effect on me, I just feel so guilty for stoping them seeing dad and then in the next breath i think im doing the right thing.
Right, rant over. sorry about that i just had to get it off my chest.
Anyway, im going to make some twinks hobnobs and some fifteens now! x
Hugs, Zoe. Was in a similar situ with xH, though he showed signs of violence and uncontrollable temper to DD1 (3 months old). I allowed only contact supervised by myself, which was unbearable, but better than the alternative.
If the experts other than yourself (the key expert) are saying withdraw contact, then maybe it would be better to do that, for a specified and shared limited time (you decide how long). Then you could share this with your little ones, and agree a time to review it? Am no expert in the legals, but you sound as though you are being ultra reasonable.
Good luck with this.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Zoe.. big hugs to you.. you havebeen so very strong in coming this far and achieving what you have achieved. At age 4, she may be a bright spark BUT she has no idea of what the possibilities are.. you obviously are able to consider IF he ever did anything to one of the children.. she can't see or understand or probably not evencomprehend that as a possibility.. he is her daddy and she loves him.. but YOU can see beyond that. You have to do what you must in order to protect you children whatever their feelings on the matter are, if you consider a risk too great, don't go there. You have the law on your side and the right to protect the children. Supervised access may be an option as frodders suggested, with a SW present or a trusted family member or friend.
You are NOT stopping them seeing their dad.. HE did that by behaving like a prize trossock.. do not even think you are in any way to blame here.
If any of us can offer any help, please just ask and we will as far as we can.. (((hugs)))
It is your job to protect and nurture your children and let them enjoy these years. You know what he is capable of and if he can be trusted with them.. only you can make that decision.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
My lunch was lovely. I have plated my mates and her daughters up so they can collect it on their way home.
Done 4 loads of washing and even managed a couple of hours sunbathing. Officially Debt Free Nov 2012 :beer:0 -

ask my fella again and he says the bit he doesn't understand how to work how much the appliances is costing you - is it meant to do that?
Didn't bother with that... I thought it would probably take too long to put the costs in, so just recorded the usage and worked out the cost myself. TBH I just wanted to see what the difference was between various things and various cycles - which used more or less. If you focus on the cost per wash etc., you'll think it doesn't cost much - it's only cumulatively that it gets expensive. If you know relatively what uses a lot and what uses a little then you can decide where to cut back or what to change.toottifrootti wrote: »had lovely chat with my intended victim
Still working on it are you then
Had a lovely afternoon at the pub for the basingstoke meet...
Have now hoovered downstairs and am about to do upstairs. HUGE cobweb under the water tank which may be where the spiders are coming from  so need to have a really good go at all the floors and the airing cupboard. Think I'll wash as well as hoover, and maybe get the tea-tree out again.
Than have to deal with the fruit and veg glut in the kitchen... eating it looks like a good option0 -
