Greenbee - A small fig tree is £9.99 plus delivery from crocus so I think I will order one now. Should do well on the south facing stone wall on the front of the house once I have cleared a space.
Good luck with DDs room Jinky. Most of our house used to look like that when I first signed up for Flying.

wm on, dw on, painted fireplace, looks fab!
seen a guy about window repair, got a quote for floor sanding.
DH had just been bitten by (sorry soappie) a springer spaniel who we know and is a nice dog. Just went to see the people and the dog stuck his head through the gate and bit him! Anyway, makes you realise that you have to be careful with dogs, and we love dogs, DH is soo shocked. It isn't a bad bite, but it broke the skin. Doggie got a smacking and sent to his kennel, but what a shock!

Heard you boss! I really don't see why I should have to be responsible for chivvying them so they're ready. I DO want them to have a good time - I'm not that much of a cow but when I took them, and their cousin to Blackpool I had their cousin stay here overnight both before and after as Valliland-Zoelikesjamland-Blackpool-Zoelikesjamland-Valliland would have been AWFUL
And it was partly in deference to their ages that I arranged our London travel for late morning - no getting up and panicking then!

Morning Tooties! Thanks. I am lucky that I get on with MIL (didn't always lol). They know all the carp we've gone thru this last year and they go to the same place in turkey all the time so they know the people there. I don't know how much its costing them but I have till june to save up about a grand (!!!) to keep us all for a fortnight!!!
Right apart from what I did last night, I fell asleep on the bloomin sofa so feel awful! Early night tonight for school!!! Got to get on and get this corner of the living room done for the electrician tomorrow. Was going to hoover the hallway but he will probably make loads of mess so not going to bother till he is done and away.
Speak to you all in a bit
