    Hi all...hope everyone is well.
    Not a lot to report as everything jus ticking along here.Went to work and it was quite busy so happy with that.
    Looking forward to day off tomorrow..nothing much planned but I like it that way.
    Checked banking etc and everything as it should be..I really do need to update my sig as have paid quite a bit since last updating it...but also need to add on the new debt IYSWIM..the debt isn't me spending it is CC transfers and fees...IYSWIM.
    So will make a point of doing that later.
    Have done my accounts since coming home and washed the pots,folded some washing...later I will hoover downstairs and wash the pots from tea.

    Hi EL..the only thing I hate about my job is sitting around waiting for a fare so am glad when it's steady/busyish.

    yeah i would imagine you can only read the paper for so long ...what do you do when you are idle for a while? ...is taxiing worth it ? hubby needs to start thinking of a new job ...may be a while off though ...but this was one of the things i put to him ...no digging so less bckache hopefully

    Sitting in a car all day can give me serious back ache!!!...
    When I'm sat about waiting for a job..I don't buy newspapers...not very MSE..read them online..lol....I just sit about thinking of ways to clear the debt.
    Taxi driving is worth it to us because we own our own and all the money is ours ..rather than having to give half to a owner...

    ahhh maybe not so good then for his back ....i imagine some shifts must feel like they take ages to pass though if you aint busy ...but i imagine it is nice to feel you are your own boss
  • Glad things are stress free for you at the moment gives you time to gird your loins before whatever comes along next - and you are doing a great job on your debt busting :A

    It is great being my own boss..nobody can sack me/make me redundant .I can work what hours I want to as well which is great.

    I'm glad that it's stress free at the minute..lol...probably won't be next week when I have the new boiler fitted...lol
