  • Oh goodness, you've really been going through it recently haven't you. at all the mucking around over the car - so frustrating when you're left in that situation where you feel totally helpless. As for the health thing - anti-depressants are strange things and can have some really odd effects - I know a number of people who've would up feeling worse taking them than not! I really hope that one way or another things are sorted out and you're feeling more like yourself sooner rather than later.

Afternoon all..just a quick one from here for now.
I promise to carch up with you all over the next few days.
There's been "stuff" going on here and the long and short of it is is that I ended up having to do a 14 hour shift on monday night!!!...couldn't sleep properly yesterday and it's put everything out all week now!!!

I need to update my sig but will do it when I log on again.

Think I need to write a list of to do stuff for this month..as there's loads.

    So here goes:
    (1) Do accounts..have had a letter from accountant!!!
    (2)Do complaint letter for Vauxhall
(3)Go to council and renew taxi badge and take insurance documents in
(4)Buy JJ some of those books that help with his writing
    (5) Keep on top of washing
    (6)Deep clean bedroom 1
    (7)Deep clean bedroom 2
    (8)Deep clean bathroom
    (9)Deep clean hall/stairs/landing
    (10)Deep clean both living rooms
    (11)Deep clean kitchen.

So this month is all cleaning and paper work and I need to come up with a plan to keep on top of the accounts.

Have just had a lovely home made red thai curry and rice and it was really tasty..yum!!
I've just put some washing in and folded some drying so that's a start.
I'm still quite tired from the long all night shift on monday night and really need to get on with these jobs especially the accounts but need to be able to concentrate (they will definitely be done before monday) and I've decided to bring them totally up to date.
starting tomorrow there's a whole new accounting system starting and the accounts will be done on a daily basis...I'm going to buy some big brown envelopes and on the 1st of each month I will use one and put the receipts in it every day and on a piece of paper inside will write down every incoming and out going each day...then at the end of the tax year the accounts should basically be done!!!!...I'm sick of wasting energy/time every year trying to do these accounts..how hard can it be?
Seeing as I haven't got energy/concentration to start tonight on accounts I'm going to start on something else off my list so that I can cross it off.
I've managed to catch up on the diaries now anyway.

taxi, have you got excel or something? if you're planning on keeping it updated daily, it would be quicker and you can cross reference to the envelopes. Also if you do it, it will reduce the work the accountant does for you and could possibly save you money in their fees.

Thai red curry sounds delish - I'm having chicken enchiladas - currently cooking in the oven and smelling lovely!

Taxi, why on earth do you have to do all that deep cleaning this week? That sounds horrendous. I'm with you on the accounts, but don't really care about letters from accountants at this stage - I only take notice when they threaten they won't be able to get the thing submitted by the due date......... hugs on the 14 hour shift, taht also sounds horrendous.
