I once had an order with Tesco and one of my items was a shampoo for curly hair and they substituted it with a shampoo for straight hair - obviously common sense went missing there!

Aww sorry youve had a rough few days :( Fab that DD is ok and insurance paying up as that will be a load off as you recover.
As for cheating way to get debt free - its not cheating and tbh I dont care how i get there! Certainly none of us think youre cheating!!

Taxi, I don't know whether they deliver to your area, but I used to use FARMAROUND for organic deliveries and they were excellent.

I only stopped for MSE reasons, but I used to get a bag of fruit and veg every week, and often organic bread and eggs and everything was really fresh and fab quality. They are based in North Yorkshire and somewhere around London and support local farmers and producers, so they are ethically sound. When I'm DF, I will defo use them again.

You might have better luck with someone like them for purely organic stuff, then stick to a supermarket for deliveries on other everyday items. I personally use Sainsbo's and have found them to be good - I always tick no substitutes.
    Good luck :)

There is a box on the order form...I just thought It was for comments about other stuff...lol...

Never dreamed they would be so stupid as to put in non organic stuff in an organic order...if I use them again I'll put it in that box...

DD1 came to put it away as DD2 was called into work on an emergency...they refunded the items but then gave DD them as they go in the bin once they've been dispatched...she's happy as it's her favourite bread..lol

The man was nearly an hour early and said he would put the stuff away for me if DD wasn't there in time...she made it in time though as she was coming early..she is impressed with them and says when she gets her new house she's coming here and ordering her shopping to be delivered to her house...she doesn't have a computer.

Popped to DS3 house before for an hour..it's on my street so not a problem...just a change of scene as sick of looking at these walls.

They are Beanie...we don't have Waitrose here either...they only started delivering in this area the last couple of months.
If you put your postcode in their checker it will tell you if they deliver to your area....they use big distribution centres for delivery our nearest is Liverpool way

    Hi Taxi.
I was shocked to read about your daughters scare, but so relieved about the results :kisses3:

Bit of a pain from Ocado, have you looked at Abel & Cole as a possibility. I think they were on Quidco at one time.

Love & hugs to you all.

I have Whatatwit but the sheer amount of organic stuff I buy would be very very expensive from them...we have either abel and cole or riversford organic in thornton...and they were really pricy.

I'll be up to making my own bread again soon..so that will save a lot of money.
I have intentions of growing nearly all our own fruit and veg next year so that will save loads as well...the initial investment in a green house will be well worth the money...

These are a local supplier and from the site, they are at the Thornton & Poulton farmers markets. Growing with Nature again though the cost could be far more than Ocado.

I do think the growing your own is the way to go and then the food hasn't travelled miles to get to you.

growing with nature looks positive but I would still need my meat, fruit juices, eggs etc...when I can drive again..i'll pop to the farm or one of the markets...no harm in looking.
