Thanks for all the well wishes xxx
Wol...I have answered..thanks x...I have a great team here...the bone scan and liver scan are being done because I have a lot of pain in certain bones especially in the rib cage of the same side of the cancer and the right hand side of my stomach is larger on the right hand side near my liver...I just mentioned these symptoms in passing to the BCN and she asked the consultant if I could have these tests and he agreed....so they are just to be on the safe side...to see if it's spread...though when he felt under my arm there was no lumps...so that's a good sign.
Whatever will be will be and we have to cross each bridge as we come to it....hopefully the bone pains and swelling by the liver may be because I'm obese..which is something I need to tackle when I'm better.0 -

Glad you have all your dates sorted taxi, you must be relieved. And as for the ESA - they do get it right eventually, I ended up going for a medical!!!!! (same thing, self employed) but not until 8 months after I started claiming, and that has been due to a strange recovery rather than the cancer itself (trapped nerves in my hips) I have to say though that since then I have had no problems at all, although with the change of government, I believe that they are going to ask everyone for a new medical (deep joy!). Just dont talk to me about DLA (am on third appeal!)
Best of luck for tomorrow - LiloLive on £4000 a year again for 20110 -

Remember the old series Bread with Joey and the lady in the benefits office?
I have this really funny image in my head of Taxi in there in her Pineapple slippers and bright pink dressing gown with the rest of MSE behind her. I don't think they would have dared shout "next" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I'll need to claim DLA due to mental illness...lol...
I am going to scour the benefit boards after and see if I can work anything out from there.
Sounds a valid reason to me:D:rotfl::rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0
