I am so pleased when friends on here get bonuses or win things or make mega inroads into their debts, then i ask myself 'what are you doing LT to get rid of yours?' i know i'm doing ok and i can sort of see the light at the end of the debt tunnel but i wish it was tomorrow. but then don't we all wish it was tomorrow? then i feel guilty as i shouldn't feel jealous of my friends. strange and do-lally? moi??
Your not strange or do.lally..lol...we are all guilty of wanting to get debtfree tomorrow..ahhh if only lifewas so simple...eh.
I have times where I can't pay any extra and others where I can manage quite a bit it all depends on what I need for normal household stuff at the time.0 -

Just thankful i am in credit by a huge amount with gas and electric. £145I plan to be comfortable i can tell you.
To be honest BOB...I am not one to skimp on my gas/electric in the winter..there is no point saving a few pounds on gas but losing loads from not working...comfort is so important along with health.0 -
I always run into the winter in credit on the electricity so I don't have to worry about putting the heating on. Problem with storage heaters is that they leave the place lovely and warm during the day when we're not here to appreciate it, but by the evening a lot of the warmth has gone!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Just updated my sig as another £508.32 has come off in lloan payments and am so happy that I'm in the £75ks in debt if I include my savings. So looking forward to being in the £60ks for next target.
Nothing else much to report..we weren't able to take the cab out for either shift today again and am really really hoping to get it out by tomorrow night at the latest.
It has been raining the last few hours on and off and the snow has started to melt..the worst thing that can happen is it freezing over the snow that's left so hopefully most if not all will be gone by tomorrow.0 -

Those two payments were just the car loan and one of the Halifax loans...I will be so rich when we are debt free.
As expected the snow has iced over...but tomorrow is meant to be a nice day so it should melt...hopefully0 -
I hope you are thawing out up there - down here it is still very poor on many of the roads, although the major ones are reasonable...Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
