Have you managed to get out in taxi today - roads here have been awful - side streets notorious even snow on motorways. Hope we have heavy rain to clear it - looks pretty through window but I don't like it - frozen slippy slush - yuk.
I wish I had means of overtime at work to pay debts more quickly. I suppose I should do more things online to earn a bit more - but got very disheartened after surveys I was doing screening me out a good way into the survey. I know every little helps but sometimes I wonder whether it is worth the time spent. At one time I also worked at a second and third job during school holidays, but to be honest I don't think I could do it now. I tend to check my totals every few months as I can see I have paid something off - if I checked too often I know I would get pi$$d off and have a blow out spend because the totals weren't coming down fast enough. Don't think that makes sense - but I know it's how I work - I rather see a difference less often. This debt busting sure brings out our own funny quirky ways LOL.
Still need some inspiration for my ds pressy - I will go round the shops till I find something if it's not too slippery tomorrow.

Neither me nor DH got out to work today..the snow was quite deep this morning and I had hopes for it defrosting by tonight but it hasn't.I had a walk to the PO and that was quite scary.
I don't think it will be gone in the morning either..it really needs to go pretty quick as in a couple of days we have a lot of compulsory shifts..that cost us £100 fine foreach one not done and we can't afford that and also need the earnings.
It doesn't usually stick here the last time was about 15 years ago....I live very close to the beach and the salt air normally stops it sticking.
So all keep your fingers crossed that it melts away so I can go to work.0 -

i'm glad you all understand. I am so pleased when friends on here get bonuses or win things or make mega inroads into their debts, then i ask myself 'what are you doing LT to get rid of yours?' i know i'm doing ok and i can sort of see the light at the end of the debt tunnel but i wish it was tomorrow. but then don't we all wish it was tomorrow? then i feel guilty as i shouldn't feel jealous of my friends. strange and do-lally? moi??0
