I fail to see what the company has done wrong? if it has honoured it's purchase price of £50 then surely everyone's happy?

Unless of course people are jealous for some strange reason?

Thats probably because they chose to sell them for a higher price on ebay. If you can get a higher price for them than "The London Mint" is offering, it makes logical sense to sell to the highest bidder.
