Morning Dotty, hows you today?
Well done on the ebay bids. I am intending to get back in the swing this weekend and next week and take advantage of the free listings.
You do have to be careful with Paypal, because if they claimed never to have received the vouchers or there was something wrong with them then they can do a chargeback/dispute on Paypal and there money would be withdrawn from your account.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

OK, i may accept the offer then, do you think £206 is a reasonable offer for £270 worth of vouchers or would you barter for more?Focusing on clearing the credit cards in 2018 :T0

Don't let it put you off as long as you send recorded / special delivery you should be ok.
Only use Special Delivery unless you can effectively stand to lose the item being sent. I've had 5-6 disputes with Royal Mail re. Recorded Delivery in the 7-8 years I've been using eBay and I've never been refunded the value of items lost! It's a completely useless service as there's no obligation on them to collect a signature. At least with Special Delivery it's insured. Some sellers have the money held by paypal for higher value items of mobile phones etc until the buyer has left you positive feedback
Have never heard of this happening and I've sold hundreds of items on eBay, mostly using Paypal and up to the value of £1000.Yes I think once it's in your paypal account it's paid
True, but like Doodledo says, they can activate a 'clawback' through Paypal (similar to the way credit card companies claim back monies). This will take funds straight out of your linked account. My tip is to have the buyer contact you as soon as they receive the item and to hang onto the e-mail. Better safe than sorry, no?0 -

it is, only because i stopped faffing around with the vouchers i saved (£270 worth) and decided to list them, but OH is having a dig around to see what else he has that i can list and i have tons of stuff, just need to get snapping them and listing them
the £2 coin fund for xmas will be a great weight off my shoulders just to know the kids xmas will be sorted in advance is great in itself (to me)..

Couldn't agree more. I started budgeting for Christmas at the start of 2008 and I haven't looked back since. That said, next year we're just going for a sealed shoebox wrapped in Christmas paper and we'll spend what we save0 -
Anorth £2 coin today, now i have £24
I'm aiming to have £300 at least by xmas (possibly more if possible), i have sold the vouchers, going to send them special delivery, as advised, the funds are only released WHEN i get feedback or within 21 days??? is this right - thats what paypal says??

This sounds awful, Paypal must have changed their T&Cs. Off to check...0
