oooh not sure about line rental. I did think it was a bit too good to be true and asked how come it was so cheap. I asked for it in writing but don't think I specifically ask about line rental.

yes the line rental is included I'm still a bit in shock, it's so much less for so much more!

Would also be careful on the 0845 / 0870 thing; are you sure this is 24/7 if you're on Talk Weekends?

Well the man who called me did say it was anytime, and we are on talk weekends, but when I just called back the operator said it wasn't clear if that was included or whether it was an extra £2 a month. To be honest I'm not too bothered either way, our call charges are only ever a couple of £ a month so I don't think it;s worth £2 a month for us. I'll wait and see what the paperwork says when it turns up. Whatever happens it looks like our bill has gone down loads

I think I'm on a good deal, anyone interested try to get the maximum discount of £22.50.
I got on this deal about 2 years ago, took me three attempts though. The first person I spoke to wouldn't offer me anything, the second offered me a better deal but I declined that and the third person offered me this deal which I accepted. Please try again maybe the day after if you are getting no joy, it's amazing how offers differ depending on different individuals.

I think at about a tenner a week this is a very good deal. Obviously you get loads of channels and ESPN along with free calls, line rental included and Broadband upto 10 mb. You don't get the free 0845 or 0870 numbers for free but google SAYNOTO0870 and more often than not a free or regional coded number will be available.

I have been with Virgin for around 7-8 months now and have the following package, in all I pay around £59 (i'll need to check the exact amount.)

Broadband - L (10MB)
TV - XL
Phone - XL
Call Barring feature activated also

I want to call them and try and haggle this down - can anyone suggest any advice?

P.S Would I better off waiting until I hit the 12 months and do the old 'I am leaving' tactic?
